Rob Allen's banner game revisited
This is great, thanks!
These browser games are great!
great job!
Hey, is there a way to include a bit of the history of each theme, like a from-to date field or something? It's sorta neat to see when and where stuff comes from. And of course, it's always "fun" to see a theme you remember and realize, "Holy bat-turds, that was 948 years ago, and I still remember it!! I need to get a life!"
Although the site has had many banners prior to these, the banners above are the only ones with stylesheet support for our latest wide-format site structure.
Rob Allen's first banner game was up from August, 2007 until July, 2008.
Poked Studio's banner was up from July, 2008 until August, 2010.
Jay Oblea's banner was up from August, 2010 until December, 2010.
Hamumu's first banner game has been up since December, 2010.
We will introduce more banners as frequently as we can get them commissioned and made.
If you're an artist or game developer interested in creating a banner for us, send us an email to our contact address found in the site's footer.
Cool
These are SOOO amazing!!!
I love all these themes, but they don't give me an option to get rid of the SUPER CREEPY KID over there on the right.
Hey,Jay... Do you have other themes? I'm just asking this in curiosity..
Aww, I thought it would do something about the full-screen clickable background ads. :(
Seriously, the JIG web developers need to take a good look at how it renders in Safari on OS X! Only portions of the ad are shown and it doesn't scroll.
I realize there is a business relationship between JIG and Big Fish Games, but there needs to be a better way to hook visitors over to the Big Fish site.
Having to look at ads as creepy as the Phantasmat ones is a strong incentive to just forget about JIG.
[Thanks for your feedback. The background ads are wide and may not look great unless your screen resolution is at least about 1350px wide. They are designed to be fixed and not scroll. They look fine in Safari, I use a Mac and test the site in all the major browsers. I understand that the ads may not appeal to everyone, and we do try to keep to a frequent rotation so that nothing gets stale. Ads are the only thing that keeps this site going. Without them you wouldn't be reading this right now. Again, I do appreciate your feedback. It's a fine line we walk with ads and we try to create the best possible experience that we can considering they are our only means of support. -Jay]
