You Are Not A Banana: Chapter 1

JohnBYou Are Not A Banana: Chapter 1 is a game about everyday life. It was built by Brian Cullen and is filled more than its fair share of humor, tossing the supremely average protagonist into a series of mudane situations made extraordinary by the puzzles and arcade sequences you'll complete in order to make it through the day. It's a bit like Super Amazing Wagon Adventure, only you get to play as a banana for a bit.

You Are Not A Banana: Chapter 1Top down [arrow] key controls, [spacebar] to interact, and the rest is up to you. You Are Not a Banana switches between short puzzle sequences and short arcade sequences to tell its bizarre (but somehow... familiar) story. Ride your bike through the streets to avoid cars, blindly bump into furniture to find your keys. It's like real life, only way more entertaining. The soundtrack is also fantastic and could very well send you into a nostalgia coma all on its own.

You Are Not A Banana is a great diversion when you need to crack a smile and feel like it's 1985 at the same time. It's short, but it's got a budget price, and more nice things are in the works for the next chapter.

I'm sorry, but every time I see that you've posted a review, I ignore it. You only write for games that you need to pay for and/or download.
