2008 Life. Love. Game design challenge
April 8, 2008
On the topic of game design competitions, Brian Crecente over at Kotaku sends word that he's currently running a game design challenge to create a game about teen dating violence without using any violence. There is a $1,000 first prize up for grabs and the deadline is May 15th. For a complete list of the official rules, visit the JenniferAnn.org website.

kind of a strict subject.
And the next game challenge will be creating a shoot-em-up without any shooting, em's and up's.
:)
Unfortunately, the website has been mugged after your last date. -> access forbidden + 404
Is anyone else getting a "Forbidden" error message when visiting the jenniferann.org link?
Ya...getting the Forbidden here too.
and...well..I'm going to lunch a Cheese-Burguer with no Cheese... :|
Thats..weird!
It seems to be working fine for me, Pep.
Wow, what a challenge. I immediately thought of that beautiful new Amanita game for the BBC. That may be a bit young, but maybe something along those lines, with their sad and beautiful interface.
I'm also being denied.
I'm in the UK, could that be something to do with it?
Yep, getting the Forbidden error too. I think LazyPint is right, the website is probably set up to only accept views from a certain country, probably only Americans can see it.
Yes, it seems so ThemePark, I also get a forbidden message :(
I'm glad to see that they extended the deadline another month.
I've designed something for this, producing it with a few others. The key is, there are other kinds of violence than physical violence. Once you realize that, there's a pretty ripe design space to play in.
without using any violence
Darn. That pretty much rules out my new game, Teen Dating Machine Gun Massacre.
LOL. Yeah, probably not the venue for that one. xD
Also getting the forbidden error.
I am in the U.K.
