10 Gnomes episode 2: Walk in the Park is the second installment in the 10 Gnomes point-and-click series released by Mateusz Skutnik, creator of Covert Front and the Submachine games. 10 Gnomes tasks you with finding ten cartoon gnomes in ten minutes by clicking your way through a series of black and white photographs. In this installment you'll sift through pixels in a park, tapping hotspots to zoom in and look for those crafty gnomes.
Photographs pan with your cursor, allowing you to look from left to right and imparting a limited sense of movement. Certain areas are clickable, allowing you to zoom in or visit different locations. While the image movement is smooth, clicking from one hotspot to the next can be disorienting due to the lack of a transition. It keeps the game's pace moving at a fast clip, however, which is necessary, as the ten minute timer is constantly ticking down.
Another well-presented and simple point-and-click title from one of the best designers of the genre. 10 Gnomes episode 2: Walk in the Park.

I only found 6 so far and

I think I like this game series! I found 8 gnomes the first time through, this one is definately harder than the first game.
8/10 on the first shot... was it just me, or did anyone else find it tougher to find some of these gnomes? i felt like this episode played out more like a maze, since you clicked on hotspots to take you to other hotspots to help you find other hotspots... to lead you to a dead-end. on one hand, having so many hotspots (and thus, more screens to search) adds to the artistic quality of the game, and you can tell skutnik really went all-out with all sorts of angles and multiple takes on the park. on the other hand, as john already mentioned, the navigation feels a bit awkward, since you're not exactly sure how one photo transitions to the other photo some of the time. and there are so many red herrings in this one that it's even easier to forget where you've already searched or not.
Arrgh!! I missed 1!

That hand scared the hell out of me,lol! D:
I found 6 too.
Exploring a series of black-and-white artistic pictures is an experience made less beautiful by a time limit, as well as looking directly at the cursor, or scanning the screen for anything white and triangular.
If the goal of 10 Gnomes was, "Find 10 gnomes, if you do it in under 10 minutes, you'll get a special congratulatory screen" would be better, as we'd be able to peruse the scenes at our leisure.
deki!
I found number ten!

The time limit bothered me at first, but then I realized that for someone who just wants to appreciate the photos and the search without any time pressure, the timer can be ignored. When it runs out, just restart and continue the search. No biggie.
I love this game. :)
Loved the hand! A nice twist. I, too, felt like I was making my way through a maze. Loved the new angles and the 3D feeling. Still have not found Number Ten, despite giving in and using the hints. Will try again - perserverance!
Not nearly as fun as the first one because there are too many levels. Some sublevels connect to other sublevels and it just gets confusing. The first 10 Gnomes game was logical but still made you work for it because of the time limit.
A disappointing sequel.
Where on earth is the hand? I don't see it at all.
I think this one is just as hard as the first one since I didn't find all 10. Got 7 on my first try, I might have gotten 8 on my first try on the first one. Mmmmm, I do think the spots to find the little guys is a bit harder to find. And I like how the environment is more 3-D (rotating around the statue).
well, to get the hand you go to the clearing, got to the (i think) rightest hotspot, and run all the way to mexico. now i KNOW i will look at the comments before playing a game in this series.
Not working for me.
oooh! I love this game!!!
even more than the submachine games :]
9 out of 10... good for a nice coffee break.
Except I already had my coffee break. I love this Skutnik.
Oooh got the 10/10! This is my first walkthrough. I love anything by Mateusz Skutnik.

Yay, gnomes! I liked this one even better than the first BECAUSE of all the different levels. It was more challenging, and yet I did better on my first try of this one. Still--can't find #10! I'll have to try again.
Extra bonus easter egg:

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!
THAT THING THAT MAKES THE WEIRD NOISE IS SCARY!
MAKE IT STOP!
Geez that hand was scary. A little to complex to be fun like the first game.
Yes, the hand was scary. And I agree that it is possible to get disoriented in this game. It is defenately harder then the first one. I found 8 gnomes in the first, 5 in the second.
