Another create-your-own snowflake maker Flash for all you creative types out there, and it's similar to the previously posted Make-a-Flake, only better.
Relive the grammar school days of yesteryear with this Flash make-a-flake snowflake maker. Simply make several cuts in a folded paper with a pair of scissors, the way you may remember doing, and then unfold to reveal your stunning creation. A cheerful seasonal activity to wile away the hours during the cold indoor months.
Created by Popular Front, new media and interactive communications specialists, SnowDays presents a preview of your flake in real-time so you can see exactly what each tiny cut adds to—or takes away from—your winter wonder. The cutting interface is much better as well, simply click where you want to cut and drag the mouse. A tiny dotted line will be drawn along the line you drag. Very nice. Click.

That game is so addictive.. especially in Texas in the mid summer. Its easy to pick up tricks and make really awesome art outta it because you can take tips from the regulars of that site an look at their flakes.

I made snowflakes for hours yesterday, but today the site doesn't work. It keeps saying there is a connection problem from firewalls or something. I even took my firewalls down and it still won't work. What is going on? I want to make flakes!!! :-(

Jen - the site is working fine for me. I don't know what to suggest other than try using a different computer and see if that works.

For folks interested in Popular Front's SnowDays, I have a site that "x"plains how to make the more intricate and complicated designs that can be seen there, including how to "animate" your flakes!
Please check out: http://www.MisterX.ca :)

I think this website is cool!Literally!
My favorite part is that you can see all the other flakes people make.I dont any other site has that.
It makes that site uniqe!
I give two thumbs WAY up and about 20 flakes a day!!!

I think this site should be ressurected in the lists, especially now that theyre giving more money to the salvation army for every flake made ( sort of )

My flake number is:
#3,554,135
I like it, it has hearts on it!

I like it how the "game" says
"You've reached your creative limit, put down the scissors and no one gets hurt!"
when you get really good at making your flake, really funny.
