If you love games, then you really love a bundle of games. We here at JayIsGames love games. It's pretty much right there in the name. Thusly, bundles of games are make us squee. Like this bundle of fun free online escape games from FunkyLand, No1Game, and Vitamin Hana. Yeah, it's sort of otherwise known as a Weekday Escape trio in some parts of the jigasphere. Our trio this week takes us on tour through a lovely yellow room filled with mysterious little devices, followed by lunch at a brand new sushi-boat-style restaurant, and finally ending by letting the dogs loose for giggles and awwwws...
Girls Room No.09: Eyelash Curler - While the eyelash curler looks more like a device from Stanley Kubrik's A Clockwork Orange, it is quite the functional little tool in any girl's vanity routine. Or, at least, this according to FunkyLand who would have us searching high and low for five of these things. This fresh yellow room is reminiscent of the Candy Rooms series in more ways than one, although it's missing the quirky, animated clue presentation that's so fun about those. The main skill you'll need to quickly escape this time around? An eye for detail. Maybe these devices will help for that, too?
Find the Escape-Men 153: Sushi Go Round - In this latest in No1Game's escape-man series, puzzles are mainly task-based and centered on finding hidden items, most notably those famously surreptitious green guys. This searching proves very clicky in a pixel hunt sort of way as it is without a changing cursor and few visual details to the 2D graphics. So you'll want to take your time, watching and waiting, as if you're really ordering food at a sushi-go-round restaurant. But be careful of waiting too long as game begins to hold out on you; one escape-man can prove to be elusive this way.
Free the Dogs - This little escape from Vitamin Hana gives the right dose of cute and funny to infuse your day with happy thoughts without the hangups of abstruse codes or troublesome searches. As you might guess from the title, to gain your own freedom, you'll need to let the dogs out first. This entails plenty of puzzles in the nature of deciphering clues and using items, all of which can be completed in a 5-10 minute break. Plus, if you're on device that doesn't support Flash, you can select "Mobile" to play the HTML5 version of the game.
We love escape games, and our readers love talking about them and sharing hints! How about you? Let us know what you think, ask for clues, or help out other players in the comments below.
...and I'm out. Pretty easy this time around.
Cute selection! Especially the Vitamin Hana with all those beagles, I thought that was a nice little creative change! Escape-Men was hilarious as always.
I can't play the Escape men games now that they use HTML5. I'm not sure why that is. I've tried it on the latest versions of different browsers, and can play other HTML 5 games, but not the new escape men ones. Any help would be great!
OK seem to be stuck at the end of Vitamin Hana...
I don't seem to be able to use the glue on either of the keys, or the knife to open the glue...what have I missed?
Thanks!
Jim,
Are your keys in pieces?
if not
You can saw them in half
Never mind, got it!
Hi zombiebee,
The only thing I can think of is perhaps you have an ad-blocker running?
You could also try contacting them through their website for suggestions.
Stuck in the sushi bar with 7 EM, a phone (used code reader, didn't redeem coupon), a twisted wipe, and a newspaper reader that just plays hide and seek.
I am there with you, but I only have 6 EM plus
the twisted wipe and a teabag
Now 8 EM, but still the same item set. The guy peeking at me is starting to bug me.
I would like to go over and talk to the peeker and tell him what I think of his behavior and that it's going to get him into trouble someday real soon if he doesn't cut it out and what do I do with this stupid twisted WIPE!
For the Peeker:
Use your twisted wipe on the guy to the right.
But now I'm stuck.
Thanks Motomomo! Could've sworn I clicked on everything with that.
Dang it. One EM left to find and I'm clueless. Anyone finish? Drop a hint, maybe?
This Escape Men was tougher for me than usual. A couple of hotspots that took me way too long to find:
Above the sushi bar.
The black bar at the left of the door.
The tap
at the far right of the items under the sushi bar
that is only active when the teacup is selected
Finally found the item on the belt. And I'm still clueless. :-(
Ahhh. Got it. Sometimes I just need a minute or ten. :-) Out.
Thanks for the tip Elle, I'm gonna contact them for suggestions. I don't have an ad-blocker, so that can't be it. Hopefully they can come up with a solution.
There's two endings for EM153. In case you're wondering, ending #1 is
without getting the QR code, where you complain about the place being expensive and how it will end up out of business
and ending #2 is
the one with the discount code.
You end up commenting about how cheap it is and wondering how they even operate, when they're so cheap.
any walkthroughs available?
ok thanks.
