Amajeto enlarged their typical living room! Nice. Then tomoLaSiDo imprisones you in a room with bare brick walls and a bathroom with fantastic view. Not sure about a view from outside, though. Interiors with brick walls are the latest hit among developers, apparently, and so you'll find yourself then in Spiceapp's brick corridor with clear mission - find the crown! The last Neat Escape's game is clever and fun to play - good escape as it should be.

Welcome to Amajeto's small apartment - this time you can explore two rooms. Your goal is simple - find eight tiles and complete the picture which gives you the key from the exit door. Can you escape?

Before I translated the game's title I thought I was collecting charcoal pills (quite big, true, but it's tomoLaSiDo's game after all). No, I wasn't. Devs hid thirty eight false moustaches in their room, and either I'm getting better (and after all those years playing their games it's about time) or the authors made a game on easier side...well, a little bit.

You find yourself in a corridor, not very interesting one, with plain brick walls and two locked doors. Somewhere there Spiceapp (Gotmail) hid a crown and you need to find it in order to get out from here. Look around, explore the corridor carefully and try to open the door. You'll get the crown soon but sadly, you can't keep it. With bare hand you came, with bare hands you leave.

P.S. Talking about brick walls, do you remember Orbit Escape? Well done, very good puzzles and really long. Can be found in WE N°137.
Last week you played Neat Escape's escape from your room, this week it's escape from your friend's room for a change. I have to say, your friend has better room than you - bigger and more comfortable, and a view seems much more interesting, too. There are also more puzzles and the second ending makes playing time noticeably longer.
Don't forget to save your game after you find the blue key since it's compatible with two locks and the path splits here.

Try a different browser, I had no problem with Chrome or Edge, to be fair, I didn't have any problem in Firefox either. Unity is very slow to load, try just waiting for a bit, or refreshing the page.
Explanation of the warning:
This warning appears if you try to access the site over HTTPS, because tomoLaSiDo used a certificate that didn't include their domain.
However, both the title and image link only specify HTTP. My best guess is that something in your browser/internet setup is rewriting the link.

We start off this week in a dim room lit by a lamp sitting on a grid of drawers. Only the middle four drawers can be opened, and they have numbers printed inside. Next to the lamp, two wooden people move their legs.
Turn right to face the windows looking out onto the city. The table has a square tile next to an empty bowl you can lift.
Turn right to face two locked doors, with several tiles missing from the picture in between. The table lamp sits on a small table with a four-letter lock.
Turn right to face a television screen (turned off) over a welcoming sign. Underneath, there are locked cupboard doors with two buttons, four color buttons, (nothing,) four shape buttons, and a grid of buttons.

For some reason on Welcome Room, Lenovo comes up and ot just loads but neverstop. i'm guessing it;s a server error or something?
I tried today using Microsoft Edge and got the same message. I'm sad because I have been playing TomoLaSido games for years. Why I'm getting this now when nothing on my network has changed? I don't know.
It seems that "escape games" have gone past the golden years. When Flash died that began the end. I realize the platform has changed and will continue to change. I still like to play these games on my desktop computer. But the trend is going (speeding) toward mobile devices which I have but don't use to play games.
Nicolet and Amajeto have adapted to the Unity platform and now I understand why Unity games are a tall rectangle. Those games are meant for tablets and phones not computers. Which may also explain why no one discusses / hints / walk throughs while playing the games. It's easy to keep multiple tabs open on a computer. One tab for hints and tips and another for the game. But not so convenient for phones or tablets.
Anyway, I will continue to come here on Wednesdays to find beautiful escape games. Lord knows I need to escape now more than ever.

One possible gap in the phone theory of tall rectangles: why aren't the games just designed wide so users can rotate their phone to landscape? Based on the screenshots here, I'm guessing that there's some psychological effect where taller games actually appear more spacious.
Escape Challenge 112: Room with False Moustaches
Call it farcical hair.
Exploration
This brick room has a table shorter than the chair next to it. Pick up a 2 moustaches from the table and potted plant.
Turn left. Under a seemingly unrelated photo, a ball with a face on it is attached to a box with three shape buttons and a feather. The buttons on the wall box have lines that change thickness. The blue bin is empty but marked with three dots.
Turn left to face a locked door. You can take the moustache from another face ball sitting on a chest of drawers, which has no lock on the top drawer but two weird handles on the side instead. The middle drawer has three different-shaped digit buttons, and the bottom drawer has three round color buttons.
Turn left. There's a wall clock and picture frame with several shapes on them. The left machine appears to be a slot machine, while the right one simply has a round lever controlled by a button.
(You can look under the machines, but there's nothing there!)
Enter the corridor to the toilet, where you can sit down, look right, look up and look left at a tree in a field.
Machines near clock
You don't need any other clues for these!
For the left machine:
You can line up three stars but that does nothing. You can't line up three moustaches at all…
unless you stop the reels in the order 1, 2, 3 (C L R).
(You need to have the order correct and stop reel 3 on the moustache to win.)
You get 30 moustaches.
For the right machine:
Don't let the lever fall on your side! You can handle this by just clicking all the time, but a less tiring solution is to click when the lever is on your side.
(The lever follows a slightly different pattern on your first attempt, which is indicated by the color the left platform lights up.)
You get a key piece.
Three drawers
You'll need clues from
the clock, picture frame and blue bin.
For the top drawer:
Since the other drawers have locks, this one must be controlled by the handles on the sides.
Those handles have L shapes that match those on the framed picture, which has a gray section that looks like a down arrow.
From top to bottom, the shapes are on the
LLRRLL.
For the middle drawer:
The circle, down triangle, square are on the clock where the numbers

would be.
For the bottom drawer:
The blue bin has three yellow dots, so click each button once.
You get a total of 3 key pieces and 3 moustaches.

You'll need clues
from the toilet and the framed picture.
For the wall box:
Carefully comparing the views in the toilet, you find that there are a total of three holes in the wall, with the middle being largest and bottom smallest.
Click the buttons on the box (from top to bottom)

Inside, there's a key piece and moustache.
For the face machine, a hint:
The left triangle button makes a heart appear.
Solution:
In the direction of the arrow (right to left), the clue on the bottom of the screen corresponds to the
RRCRCL buttons.
You get a key piece! But something's still missing.
Now the square and triangle buttons change when clicked, but the circle remains.
As the framed picture indicates (from top to bottom):
Click the square to make it a diamond, and leave the triangle pointing left.
Then push the circle button.
Then push the diamond and triangle buttons to make them square and right.
Then push the circle button.
This releases a moustache from the face.
This time, I've covered all the optional stuff already, so just open the door and leave!

The Jeweled Crown
A precious crown has been stolen by a disreputable antiques dealer. As a super thief, you snuck in to steal it back, but fell into the basement!
Exploration
You start off facing a painting and two locked doors. It's not very obvious what's weird about the painting:
two tiny holes at the top left of its frame.
Turn around (left or right) to face a corridor with lots of stuff. There's a blue storage shelf with a red clue book on the left side and a locked box on the right.
There's also a diagonal view before you face it close-up, whose only purpose is to let you check the left side of the shelves and find a green key stuck behind a box.
There's a bookshelf without any useful books, but after moving some books from the bottom right you find a panel with three labeled keyholes.
There are three wooden boxes on the floor, but you can only look at two of them. The middle one has a four-digit padlock, while the right one is nailed shut.
And finally, there's a cupboard tucked into the corner of the room. Clicking the left side reveals a grid clue pasted there, while the middle compartment contains a note with another grid clue, and the right compartment just has a black circle on its base.
Red crown
Three of the clues have the red crown marked on them:
The red book, the digit grid clue, and the letter grid clue on the note.
Use them to unlock the middle wooden box:
After translating each shape to letters (using the book) and then to digits (using the grids), you find that
Diamond = C + U = 1+3 = 4
Square = X + L = 2+7 = 9
Star = W + D = 3+0 = 3
Triangle = R + Y = 4+2 = 6
Enter 4936.
Take a long green stick, and use it
at the hidden spot on the side of the storage shelf
to get a green key, and then use that to unlock the right door.
Exploration 2
You start this room facing a locked wardrobe. The game won't let you look closer at anything else.
Turn right. In the left chest of drawers, the audio cues (if you still have the sound on!) tell you that only the second drawer with a card slot can be opened.
Click the bottom of the screen to look at the carpet, which you can roll up to find a key card.
Turn right to face a desk with a six-button box on it. Each button stays in the up or down position. The top drawer on the right has a keyhole. Also, the door here doesn't work, and the armchair on the right has a blue key on it.
Turn right. There's the crown! But the glass case it's in has a four-digit lock.
You can't go right any more, only back out of the room.
Opening stuff
The blue key unlocks the wardrobe, which contains a small wooden set of drawers. One of them has a tiny hole in it.
The card key unlocks a drawer on the clock screen. Inside, you find a hammer.
Use that hammer to
open the right box outside.
You get the nails as well as a note with a picture of trees.
Use the nails to
open the drawer in the wardrobe
and get a small metal handle. then use that handle
to open the painting on the first screen
and get a pair of pliers.
Big and small
Use the clue from the
tree note
to unlock the box on the desk:
Push down the 2nd, 4th, 5th buttons.
Take a small iron rod.
Use the pliers to bend the iron rod, then
use the bent rod on the desk drawer to pick its lock.
You get a red key. Use it to unlock
the box on the shelves outside
and get a note with a riddle on it.
Math?
Use the clue from the riddle note to unlock the glass box:
The middle of the note tells you how to get 1+1=6:
Each

has 3 letters, so together they have 6.Either by following that logic or by considering the examples given, you find that you need to
translate each number to its letter count

and then work out

Escape
Use the crown
in the rightmost compartment of the wooden cupboard in the corridor.
Now you can
open the drawer above
to get a yellow key.
Insert the Green, Red, Yellow keys into the panel in the bookshelf, which unblocks the exit!
(Ending summary:
With light fingers, you returned the crown to the village and left a note to the village head, who was very pleased. And you got more than enough reward in wine at the next day's celebration.)
Click on the exit again to end the game!

Escape from my Friend's Room
Exploration
You start off facing the window. A table with two teacups has a screw panel under the cups. And around it…
Zoom in on the couch and take a dumbbell from it.
The desk has a red cube that opens up to reveal a cylindrical metal part, a small platform with two silver markings on it, and a computer which doesn't have info for you. The top shelf has a box with three shape buttons.
Your friend's bed seems very well-protected by simply being too high to reach. Under it, there's a track for toy cars, complete with a camera above the goal line and a screen that you can start the race with (but not yet). Near the floor, there's a drawer with a keyhole.
The television screen is currently off. Under it, there's a compartment locked with two colored buttons, and another with five color-changing buttons.
Back out and turn around to face the locked exit door. The metal panel on its left can't be used yet.
The left half of this screen has a punching bag and a dartboard among some other sportsy equipment.
The right half has a six-button box on a wall shelf. Each button can be set to ◯ or ✕. On the floor, a trapdoor opens up to a dangerously deep pit next to an unusual-shaped indentation.
Darkness
Place the round part into the panel near the door, and push it. It's a light switch!
You find that
the wall near the TV
has a clue that lets you unlock the right compartment under the TV:
Rotate the clue to match the puzzle, and you'll see that from left to right the buttons need to be

Place the batteries into the remote control, and then use it on the TV.
Only one channel is airing, and it shows you a clue with colored shapes.
Place the toy car on the track, and then
on the screen nearby, push the button to start the race.

Check the computer to view the photo finish, then use that to unlock the box on the shelf above the computer:

Based on the TV clue, those colors are represented by the

Take a toy robot.
More technology
Examining the robot, you find that it has no batteries, so
take the batteries out of the remote and use them in the robot.
It's now holding two bright red lights!
Next, use the robot on the platform facing the red cube. Nothing seems to happen, but you can get a clue by
turning off the room lights and returning to the robot, then zooming in on the wall to the left.
Use that clue to unlock the box to the right of the door. A hint:
You've seen something in this room with six red squares.
Solution:
The "good" or "bad" refers to which of the six red figures are valid cube nets (i.e. they can be folded to form a cube in a similar way to how the cube nearby unfolds.)
Let's name the diagrams
A B C
D E F
Look at B, C and D, which have a row of four squares in the middle. These form a band wrapping around the cube, and it's easy to see that the top square can go on top and the bottom below. Thus these three diagrams are Good!
On the other hand, A and F are Bad because they have two top squares that must both fit above the band.
This leaves E, which you can try to visualize yourself or make a paper model to try.
(You can also try to find opposite faces by looking for squares that are 2 columns or 2 rows apart. While this rules out A and F easily, I don't know if it's logically sound. )
At the end of that, you find that the good ones are

Take a utility knife from the box, then use it
to slash open the punching bag, and look at the floor
to find a blue key.
Save your game, and we can proceed to the normal ending:
Use the blue key to unlock the door and escape.
You get some donuts to eat!
Back out to the title, make sure you click Load Game, and find somewhere else to use that key.
Unlock the drawer under the bed, which opens up to reveal a big red button. Push it!
Ah, so much neater. However, the new framed picture seems like a new clue. Climb onto the bed to get a little rest, and you find another red button under the pillow. Push it!
Exploration 2
Sound, darkness, less darkness. Back out from the bed to find yourself in a much less comfy room.
There's a projector screen set up with some large speakers.
Click the chair to find that it's a white recliner in front of a projector which has three buttons that don't work. While looking at the chair, you can also zoom in on the power socket.
Back out and turn around to face an elevator. The button panel has five numbered color buttons. The locker on the right has a display of thick black lines that changes when you click some parts.
In case you've forgotten, the way back is on the bed.
And returning to the first room, you find something different!
You can now collapse the sand pile under the punching bag to find a pair of pliers.
Levels / Contents
Use the clue from
the framed picture downstairs
to unlock the locker:
Each half of the horizontal bars gets shorter when clicked, until they vanish and restart.
Paying attention to where the vertical bar appears on the picture, you find that you need to click those halves

Take a box that's tied shut.
Open the box with the pliers you found earlier, and take an extension cord from it.
Then plug that into the wall to get the projector working. Play around with the projector to get clues for the elevator:
The projector shows you how to mix green, blue, red (1, 2, 3). If you're not familiar with this, you can just leave all three lights on.
For example, 12 represents green + blue, which is cyan (the color between green and blue).

The elevator contains the exit for the game! As a reward, you get some tempura udon.
