Hi! Weekday Escape and Weekday Puzzle are here!
We've got two new cans in tomoLaSiDo's vending maschine this week, one strange escape (it's more of a web toy than an escape) by Wander Games, one retro escape again by tomoLaSiDo and very standard and linear escape by Tennpa Games.
The two puzzle games are by Tarkonner and krackocloud and both are games in which you need logical thinking and tactics. You can pause them at any time and come back to them later.
Have a good time and enjoy!
I'll Open It Up
The two new cans in tomoLaSiDo's vending machine look tempting - there is a warm strawberry smoothie (?) in the first one and cocoa in the second one...can you get to the contents? It's not a bug that the puzzle at the bottom of the pink can isn't active. You need to activate it.
The cursor isn't changing, autosave (the game saves already opened cans), one ending.
Opun the Door
Escape by WanderGames is more of a toy than a real escape - to open the door of the room you need all three lights above the door to be green...but you don't get instructions. But you can play with the crystal and patiently explore what changes it can cause in the room.
The cursor isn't changing, no save option, one ending.
Escape Challenge 105: Room with Crucibles
This retro game by tomoLaSiDo has the usual volume of puzzles but due to the fact that most of them aren't easy takes some time. There is no language barrier, you just need to think about the puzzles and if you can't solve any try another point of view.
The cursor isn't changing, no save option, one ending.
Escape Game: Room with a Lamp
Tennpa Games's escape game is simple and mostly linear, don't expect difficulties. Even if you run into a problem, the game has a two-step clue (hint and solution) and the problem is mostly that you missed something, not the difficulty of the puzzle. Overall, the game has good gameplay but to turn off the music you need to turn off the sound on the card.
The cursor isn't changing, no save option, one ending.
Mind Dot
From Tarkonner we got a match-3 puzzler where you need to correctly place the pieces into the grid. The initial levels are very easy and totally relaxing later on the difficulty increases and conquer each level is more challenging. However, it is still a slow relaxing game.
Conrolled by mouse. 30 levels. The game does not offer saving but you can freely skip levels - they aren't locked.
Gridspech
The game by krackocloud is a rule-communicating puzzle game about grids and symbols and it may take some time to understand the rules of the game. If you don't have the patience for trial and error in the comments below the game you will find a link to a walkthrough. It's an extensive game.
Contolled by mouse (LMB and RMB), 117 levels. Autosave.
We love escape games, and our readers love talking about them and sharing hints! How about you? Let us know what you think, ask for clues, or help out other players in the comments below.
In Escape Game: Room With A Lamp, there's a node which is really easy to miss:
The breadbox in the kitchen has a back button over the front of it when viewed head-on. But if you back out and roughly face the kitchen trash can, you can now click on the breadbox to get a close-up view.
They should have shifted the view of the glass cabinet with the clock face up a little to clear the back button, and made the breadbox accessible/clickable from there. This was a little counterintuitive.
I don't believe it—there's a glitch in a tomoLaSiDo game! 😲
The "crane game" with the pink arrow buttons might stop responding if you tinker with it a bit:
I don't know what I did, but it stopped allowing me to click on the right side to access the view with the third button. I was able to complete all the other puzzles in the game, but without access to the side of the machine, I couldn't solve it. It left me one key element short and I couldn't leave with my fourteen cups.
That's a first. tomoLaSiDo games never have bugs!
