Hi! Weekday Escape is here!
We start with tomoLaSiDo's vending machine, again supplemented, and then you try to escape their living room. Then we'll go to Coconuts Park's Southern Isands to see how the piggies are doing, and the last is Amajeto's newest escape room with some nice puzzles.
No puzzle games in this WE. Weekday Puzzle will be posted tomorrow.
Have a good time and enjoy!
I'll Open It Up
There are two new cans in tomoLaSiDo's vending machine - go and check!
The cursor isn't changing, autosave (the game saves already opened cans), one ending.
Booca in the Southern Islands - Episode 10 I Want to Sleep in a Hammock!
It's another lovely sunny day in Coconuts Park's Southern Islands - it would be nice to take a nap in a hammock! However, the net must first be found and then fixed between the palm trees. And then agree on who will go swinging first, both piggies won't fit in the net at the same time...
The cursor is changing, no save option, one ending.
Escape Challenge 174 - Room with Bookmarks
There are a total of seven bookmarks in tomoLaSiDo's room, and only one is usable. Otherwise you won't encounter a language barrier and all puzzles are solvable (though not easy). One very well hidden switch.
The cursor isn't changing, no save option, one ending.
Fall Painting
Amajeto doesn't leave their favourite topics easily and so we got one more laughing pumpkin in one-scene autumn-theme escape with more nice puzzles. Enjoy!

Amajeto
I don't understand why the word doesn't work?
I got the blue block and then placed it on the Jenga looking thing and the word
COOL
appears. This word does not work.
What am I missing?
Here's a hint on the missing word ...
COOL isn't a word - it's a clue to something else. Notice the shapes of the "letters" and how boxy they look, kind of like ...
markings on a number grid (check under the green seat cushion).
"COOL" represents the locations for one of the 4-digit number puzzles.
For the word puzzle, the clue is in the ...
two paintings on the ground near the door.
The numbers on the painting behind tell you which letters to pick from the words on the painting in front.
Amajeto was very sneaky this time with a couple of the hints, in particular
the hint for the shapes puzzle and the directions of the 4 dials.
Took me a while to get out.
But very enjoyable!
Did I miss a clue in Booca?
I brute-forced the solution for the cabinet inside the tool shed, but was there a clue somewhere for the correct color combination? Or was it just the order in which you pick them up?
Amajeto is getting sneakier all the time with where they hide clues…
Don't forget to examine your inventory carefully!
Took me forever to figure out one clue in Fall Painting:
I got that the word COOL related to the tic-tac-toe grid under the seat cushion. But I was trying to draw those letters using entire cells. As a result, I was getting:
C - 5, 6
O - 5
O - 5
L - 2, 3, 5, 6
That boggled my brain until I realized it was just the cell walls being described, not entire cells.
Foolish me—this is a puzzle I've done countless times, and should have hit on that right away. 🙃
The clue to that Booca puzzle ...
is behind the other sliding door.
Ah. Well, I feel sheepish… 🐑 🤦
LOL!
I had the opposite problem... I saw the clue early enough, but it took me ages to find the middle piece, even though it was right in front of me all along!
I Can't Open it
The orange can.
I have blue buttons all lit.
But only one of the gray buttons on the left side.
Just plain stuck. Oh by the way there are no walk through's for these.
I got the orange can open and have no idea what I did. Something with the arrow that moves up and down the orange slice on the right side of can.
Now I am on the brown can and can see it has something to do with the avocado but I can't get the
screws (?) to line up properly and if there is a clue on the avocado, I'm not seeing it.
I guess I will do what I did with the orange can, just click everything until something happens. That's not too fun. More frustrating than fun.
On that brown can, let's start with the right:
This one is simple—just click and hold on the lower-left button until it rolls up to the correct Japanese character.
Then on the bottom:
Not sure what the goal is here—perhaps mark things which aren't avocado? Click ✕ for the green ball, brown ball, and alligator. Click ◯ on the last image of the avocado.
Now back to the front of the can and to the left (the back side):
You have to align the "screws" with the lines indicated to open the avocado. The top and bottom screws should be oriented horizontally, and both sides oriented vertically. Now you can open the avocado's "door".
Behind the door is what looks like a gearshift. Note that it appears to go up and down, but also can go up and to the right.
Click the gearshift once, and it will move to the upper position. If you want the first ending, now click the blue circle outside the door to light it.
For the second ending, click the gearshift to move it up. Then before it resets, click it a second time, which moves it along the shift pattern to the upper-right. When it locks in the upper-right position, an image appears on the back side of the door. Note the new pattern for the screws, and also note the diagram of the gearshift pattern (it's backwards in the image).
Close the door again, and realign the screws to match that new pattern. You'll need to mirror the pattern as indicated by that backwards image: top horizontal, left vertical, right horizontal, bottom vertical. Adjust the screws to this new configuration, and click the blue button.
To be clear, this is the brown can on the fifth row, second from left.
