Hi! Weekday Escape and Weekday Puzzle are here!
As every second week, we've got a new tomoLaSiDo with rather tough puzzles followed by a short point'n'click game by patrickgh3, atmospheric with dark undertones and beautiful art.
Then come puzzle games - interesting puzzlers by muratsubo and by EPICPIKAGUY, both about magical hats, and a simple maze by Archaru.
Have a good time and enjoy!
Escape Challenge 166: Room with Crown
TomoLaSiDo prepared for you several tough puzzles in their room. There isn't any language barrier but to find out solutions takes some time - as we are used to with the dev's games. For a perfect ending you need to collect seven crowns of a watch.
The cursor isn't changing, autosave, one ending.
The Haunted Song
This is a short dark point'n'click adventure by patrickgh3 about little Song. She was left alone in a strange house while her parents got busy with some paperwork. Song starts to explore it and finds out soon that there is somebody in the house - well depends on how you define the word somebody - for sure, something present here and they need help. Can a small girl do that?
The cursor isn't changing, no save option, one ending.
A Magical Hat
One more submission to Thinky Puzzle Game Jam 2 is here - two of which were published a week ago - and it's a puzzlescripter puzzler by muratsubo. Again we play with a magical hat and you need to push it around and place at the right spot. The hat isn't a box - it has special abilities. It is a magical hat after all.
Controlled by WASD/Arrow keys, R to restart a level, Z to undo, autosave, 42 levels.
Bunny's Magical Hat
Thinky Puzzle Game Jam 2 has brought good games indeed, here is another one by EPICPIKAGUY in which you need get a bunny to his carrot. As all puzzlescripter puzzlers has basic pixel graphics but important is the content - and the puzzles are original and solid. Every level surprises you!
Controlled by WASD/Arrow keys, X to release hat contents, R to restart a level, Z to undo, autosave.
Synced
From Archaru we've got a simple maze game where you need to get two dots in two different mazes to particular exits. The poit is that you control both dots in the same time and you need to plan moves carefully and use obstacles in mazes.
Controlled by WASD/Arrow keys, R to restart a level, autosave, 21 levels.
We love escape games, and our readers love talking about them and sharing hints! How about you? Let us know what you think, ask for clues, or help out other players in the comments below.
Tomolasido
I'm not smart enough to play these games anymore.
The Haunted Song
Very sweet.
Beware the navigation. I had to reduce the zoom to 90% to see the edges.
Don't give up, 4red3s! 🙂 Where are you having trouble in this one?
(I hope not the two dials puzzle—I started to experiment to see what had to be done, and stumbled upon the solution before I even really got started! I suspect it works the same way as the "slot machine" puzzle with the three numbered reels.)
The game frame on The Haunted Song was way too big for my browser, too. I had better luck loading the game directly, where Unity nicely sizes it for you.
