Hi! Weekday Escape and Weekday Puzzle are here!
Amajeto is back with a new game and it's a good one! Then tomoLaSiDo wants you to make a cheesecake - a device for producing cheesecakes is in the apartment, you just need to get ingrediences. Primera/Cabeza remade another colorful game from 2011 and the next is point'n'click adventure by Emily Rook (Péťa Emmerová) in a style of Grounhog Day. Amélie, a witch, creates a time loop and you repeat one day many times until you get to one of the three ends. Notice, that the game can be played directly in a browser or downloaded, but can be saved only in download version. If the game played in a browser crashes, your progress is lost.
Beautiful puzzler by JCodina and ArcaCrema is a dreamy and relaxing game - a demo only, but has 28 levels. The last comes FeatureKreep's play on words - you are supposed to make a dictionary and infer the meaning of words from the context.
Have a good time and enjoy!
Ready for a Date
Amajeto wants you to get ready for a date and all you need to do is to get a big bouquet. That's easy, a beautiful bouquet is available at a flower shop across the street, but only on display locked in a glass case, unfortunately. To find a key you need to solve many puzzles and collect sixteen hearts. Hopefully the date goes well!
The cursor isn't changing, save option, one ending.
Escape Challenge 165: Room with Cheesecake
This week we've got by tomoLaSiDo two rooms apartment and the special device you find in the first room is used to produce cheesecakes. You need just one and can't avoid making it since with the cheesecake you get the last capsule with a key part.
The cursor isn't changing, autosave, one ending.
Escape in Big Island
Another remake by Primera/Cabeza is here, and again you find yourself stuck in a hotel room not able to enjoy your holiday. Oh well. the key must be somewhere in the room, you just need to solve few puzzles - luckily, you won't be thirsty, you can make a cup of coffee and tea here!
The cursor is changing, no save option, one ending.
Hexed Time
Point'n'click adventure by Emily Rook (Péťa Emmerová) is set in Europe at a time when the witch hunts were in a full swing. Young witch Amélie has one day to change the course of events in a small village and the only way how to do that is to use a magic and make several potions. However, she needs to get ingrediences for potions and the time is running fast...and on the top of that, the inquisitors have showed up in the village on that very day. Right at the game's beginning Amélie manages to create a time loop and so you can repeat the same day many times, until you solve the matter...or be burned.
The game can be played in your browser and it's downloadable, too. Notice, that the game is rather long and has three different endings, and the browser version doesn't have a save option unlike download. I experienced crash of the game.
The cursor is changing, no save option (browser version), three endings.
Nova: Cloudwalker's Tale
Calming and relaxing puzzler by JCodina and ArcaCrema is a demo only - full version will be available on Steam - but has 28 levels and offers a quite a lot. You need to create your path across the skies and on your way collect stars - your magical power allows you to shift around white clouds and thus make bridges between unmovable dark ones. Beautiful art and soundtrack, not demanding.
Fully controlled by a mouse, autosave, 28 levels.
Lost in Translation
Rosetta Stone, an agent of the Alien Language Preservation Society, is supposed to write a dictionary of the Thesauri language. Unfortunately, she doesn't know a word and needs your help. You are supposed to figure out what are inhabitants of Thesauri planet saying from the context and deduce meanings of words. The game is by FeatureKreep.
Moving around WASD/Arrow keys, for everything else use a mouse. No save option.

Amajeto's back! (Does a little dance around the computer…)
Ready For A Date was worth the wait! I really like the new way the selectors for colors/letters work—so much quicker than having to cycle through them, and you don't find yourself cursing because you missed the one you meant to stop on again…
Got 25 words at 92% accuracy in Lost In Translation. I note on the game page that the dev appears to still be tinkering with the scoring system, so curious how everyone else did. This would have been a fun Gameboy Advance game back in the day…
Argh—there's a bug in the next-to-the-last star on Nova: Cloudwalker's Tale. The character halts on the long vertical cloud and just keeps walking without actually going anywhere. She (?) doesn't ever move to adjacent clouds, making the level impossible to complete.
All those levels, just to get stuck right at the very end… 😒
It worked fine for me. Some of the later levels were pretty tricky, still nice and relaxing though.
A new Amajeto game, yay!
