Hi and welcome to Weekday Escape!
Amajeto locked you in their two floor apartment, just before friends' visit. Luckily, you don't have to clean it, only solve puzzles and get few items. Then you need to get rid of a demon in Akatsuki no Yado's escape and find some soy beans for this purpose, and the last comes cute and sweet Detarame Factory's Monthly Escape.
Have a good time and enjoy!
Evening with Friends
The Amajeto's cosy apartment needs to be prepared for an evening witn friends and you are supposeed to participate in preparations. You need to find four tiles to complete a picture, find four cups, fill them, and keep them warm. Also find a missing Ludo piece. Seems that this evening will be pleasant - what a pity you have to leave before it starts!
The cursor isn't changing, save option, one ending.
Setsubun
In Akatsuki no Yado's you can't leave a room since there is a huge demon barring the exit. He doesn't look friendly. But as everybody in Japan knows, the beginning of February is the time of the year when demons can be banished by throwing soy beans at them - if only you had any. The place where you are seems like a kitchen so start with opening drawers and cases and maybe you find something useful. The only question stays - is the door behind the demon locked or not? Is the only obstacle the demon?
The cursor is changing, no save option, one ending.
Monthly Escape 12
In Detarame Factory's monthly escapes you usually need to solve many puzzles, and this one isn't an exeption. It's December escape and so we've got one more Christmas themed game, hopefully the last one. Don't forget to reexplore the place after you solve any puzzle - something often changes, especially when cute animals are involved.
The cursor isn't changing, no save option, one ending.
P.S. Previous Monthly Escapes you find here (1-6) and here (7). What happened to Monthly Escapes 8, 9, 10 and 11 I don't know.
We love escape games, and our readers love talking about them and sharing hints! How about you? Let us know what you think, ask for clues, or help out other players in the comments below.
You really gotta be observant for changes in this Monthly Escape. One is quite easy to overlook in this adorable game.
Watch for the house in the background with six windows to change, but only in one specific scene.
Pen-pen!
Wow—this Amajeto is gorgeous. Check out the lighting upstairs!
Amajeto makes great escape games, but I have some doubts about their barista abilities. Four pulls off one tamp in a home machine? Somebody's brew is gonna be weak… 🤮
Monthly 4
Not playable.
You need a
Watering Can
It is not there and you need it.
Read the walk through and restarted but it is not there. Watched a walk through video and the video shows it but instead of a
watering can
you get a
packet of seeds
.
monthly 6
I guess moving these games to a different platform changes the game.
From the walk through in 2017:
Go back to the screen with the pond, where the rain has stopped. Pick up the pencil on the ground, and notice the peach on the tree. The lilypads in the pond have also been replaced by tadpoles.
That does not happen.
I think you must be viewing a walkthrough of a different version of Monthly Escape 4. I just played through both endings of the game here, and while the items are picked up in a different order than you described, they both can be picked up and used before the game is done.
Keep in mind that the developers sometimes make changes to their games after they've been out for a while, and sometimes the games on PC differ from the games as released as an app. To give you an idea, look at this walkthrough video. There are several differences from what I just played:
The ice lolly never gets unwrapped in what I played, the number of sticks and grass clumps you pick up is never displayed, the coins are silver instead of gold, the April Fool buttons already have possibilities displayed, and the cellular phone screens are way different.
But who needs a walkthrough video? You got your fellow escapers here at JayIsGames to help ya out. 🙃

:) I get stuck and then frustrated and then impatient and then tempted by ready made walk throughs.
In the future I shall RESIST! I will humbly submit my help requests here and patiently wait in comment purgatory for a response.
I love this place. Jayisgames has helped me hold on to my sanity on more than one occasion.
Bless you jF

For Setsubun, it helps to have a translation of the Japanese on the easel. My iPad reads it as
The direction of 2022 is north north west!
