Hello, it's Wednesday again and a new Weekday Escape here!
We still have halloweenish games - some devs are a bit late, as every year, and so we get them later. Little nice game by Crabs with roses growing on them has surprisingly good puzzles, and Amajeto has delivered threir Halloween game, finally. TomolaSoDo's game is on the harder side this week, and the last is escape from a witch's cottage by Xephrys.
Have a good time and enjoy!
Escape from the Cypresse Bath
Cute and short game by Crabs with roses growing on them has original puzzles and though they aren't not difficult, they are clever and fun. Good observation is important.
The cursor isn't changing, save option, one ending.
Candy Hunt
Amajeto's latest game is a bit bigger and maybe more difficult, mostly since few hotspots are not easy to find. If stuck, explore the yard properly and you may be surprised what all can be zoomed. And don't let yourself get confused - it's not candies you're hunting for but eight tiles. Though you get candies in the end.
The cursor isn't changing, save option, one ending.
Escape Challenge 148: Room with Buckwheat Seeds
What you need to find in tomoLaSiDo's room are four buckwheat seeds. One you use while solving puzzles and coping with devices in the room, and for perfect end is enough to leave through the opened door with three seeds only. This escape is a bit tricky - there isn't any language barrier, only a visual memory is required to solve one puzzle with four Japanese signs - but you may feel lost anyway. That's because the hints are well hidden indeed and/or not obvious.
The cursor isn't changing, no save option, one ending.
Bonus game is atmospheric little game Escape from Witch Cottage by Xephrys. You may experience a bug but it doesn't prevent you from finishing the game. Lovely art and soundtrack.
We love escape games, and our readers love talking about them and sharing hints! How about you? Let us know what you think, ask for clues, or help out other players in the comments below.

Escape from Cypress Bath walkthrough
Ducks
Pick up the bowl of ducks besides the towel.
Put the ducks into the tub.
Examine the now empty bowl. It tells you to count the yellow ducks that float, and white ducks that sink.
The answer is 2 yellow, 1 white.
Orange and red buttons
After you solve the ducks puzzle, a panel will show up, showing a flower, the sun, a leaf, and a snowflake. (These represent the four seasons.) These are actually buttons. For now, click on the leaf.
After you click on the leaf, go back and examine the window above the bathtub. It shows a night scene. Notice the moon, with an arrow going counterclockwise, starting at the 11 o' clock direction.
Now select the sun on the panel and then examine the window. Look at the sun -- starting at the 11 o' clock direction and going counterclockwise, it reads orange, red, orange, red, red, orange, red.
(If you look at the soap bottles above where you find the ducks, you will see the game tells you to apply the moon's clue to the sun.)
Now, enter "orange, red, orange, red, red, orange, red" into the water outlet at the bathtub. A key will come out.
Pink butterfly puzzle
Select the flower in the panel and look at the window. There are five butterflies: pink, pink, yellow, pink, yellow.
Select the snowflake in the panel and look at the window. There are five circles (snowballs?): green, green, blue, blue, blue.
Now go to the shower. The clue tells us that a pink butterfly plus a blue circle is a pair of red circles. So the answer is: pink butterfly, pink butterfly, blue circle, pair of red circles, blue circle.
The water is now unlocked. Turn on the shower, and the vapor will reveal some triangles on the mirror.
Triangle puzzle
There are 7 triangles. The large one, two medium ones, and four small ones.
Enter 7 at the panel near the door.
Turn right, and use the key at the exit door.
Escape!
Thank you for the link!
Love, love, love the Amajeto game! Theirs are always such fun, but got a laugh out of
the skeleton doing "shadow puppets" on the wall.

Okay, someone care to explain TomoLaSiDo's latest bathroom graffiti in Room With Buckwheat Seeds?
And while you're at it, what was with the flipbook on the desk in Room With Buckwheat Seeds? Was that a clue to something?
"Okay, someone care to explain TomoLaSiDo's latest bathroom graffiti in Room With Buckwheat Seeds?"
It's depicting a pillow fight. In Japan, buckwheat hulls are sometimes used to fill pillows.
"And while you're at it, what was with the flipbook on the desk in Room With Buckwheat Seeds? Was that a clue to something?"
It shows that a buckwheat hull is hiding at the top right corner of the rubbish bin. When I played the game, I applied the clue in the wall-mounted cabinet, thinking the square refers to the bin. After picking up from the bin, I realized what the flipbook was showing.
If your problem is that the flipbook flips too fast, then I agree. It flips way too fast.
Ahhhhh, okay. I thought the upper-left graffito was a depiction of someone passing gas. 🤭
Now that you've explained the flipbook, I can see it. But yes, I think the lines didn't last long enough to recognize what I was looking at. Thanks for clearing that up!
