Welcome to the latest Weekday Escape!
This week comes Gotmail's micro escape first followed by two Selfdefiant's games. The second one is not a typical asylum as we knew them - at the moment the dev doesn't create those - but only a memorial. If you find this WE too modest, notice, that the latest Rinnogogo is out and it will be posted individually later today.
Have a good time and enjoy!
Micro Escape #36
Again short and brisk Gotmail's escape has two puzzles only - not messy and with sufficient clues. Not bad ones.
The cursor isn't changing, save option, one ending.
Haunted Room Escape
Selfdefiant's castle or villa seem mysterious and maybe a bit dangerous, but in fact it's just a stage set. Nothing threatens players there, neither the plastic skull, nor the flower with sunglasses. You need to find keys to two doors leading out from the hall - to your freedom!
The cursor isn't changing, no save option, one ending.
Orb Collector Haunted Asylum
This isn't proper Selfdefiant's asylum. Just a 'slideshow' of images where you can collect purple orbs. That's all. No locked doors, no items and no forces of Evil - well they may be present but invisible, felt but not seen. You are supposed to find 100 orbs; however, you get out with less. It's possible to move freely around the asylum until you arrive to the last room with warning below the gamescreen. The next move to the right leads out.
The cursor isn't changing, no save button, one ending.
We love escape games, and our readers love talking about them and sharing hints! How about you? Let us know what you think, ask for clues, or help out other players in the comments below.
Orb Collector does not load in Fire Fox or MS Edge.
Orb Collector Haunted Asylum working for me under Firefox. I think it has something to do with that horrible chaos of a Web page they've got it embedded in. Try using this link and see if it will load for you.
Ugh—on Haunted Room Escape, you'll probably need to zoom WAY in close. There's a clue that you probably won't be able to make out otherwise.
Specifically:
The glasses on the table in the dining room scene have decorations on their stems. These decorations resemble flowers, and the petals and centers provide the colors for the six-color combination on the box in the bookcase scene.
I had to zoom my browser to 240% to be able to make that out. Poor design there, Selfdefiant…
