Weekday Escape

DoraRise and shine, my little escaperinos! The world didn't end while you slept, and that means another week filled with bug bites, mixed up coffee orders, ATM fees, and bills. But it also means another week on this beautiful blue ball with friends, family... and escape games, naturally, which I think is all anyone really needs. This week! I'm starting to think Vitamin Hana doesn't actually want these dogs out, because they keep getting locked up again. Esklavos sends you sailing through the sky, after you've corralled your hot air balloon, of course. And Detarame Factory brings a little colour into your day with an escape that's as cute as it is weird... and it's really weird.

Five Worlds EscapeFive Worlds Escape - Esklavos has always had a flair for the surreal, and this latest has you traveling throughout five different floating realms with the help of a hot air balloon... once you can reach it, that is. Really, though, these worlds are nice and all, but come on... I can't be the only person who would be all about Unlimited Garlic Bread World. Robes Fresh From The Dryer World. Heck, I'd settle for Everyone Uses Their Turn Signals World at this point. But hey, little surly dwarves are fine too.

Free the Dogs 3Free the Dogs 3! - At this point, we already know who, who, who let the dated reference dogs out (it was us), so the question remains... why does Vitamin Hana keep locking them up? Are they secretly criminal masterminds? Is this like The Ring? You have to tell me if this is like The Ring so I can leave. Still, in light of any reason not to, if you want to escape yourself, you'll have to set those pooches loose, so hop to it! And if by chance tomorrow we hear about some dogs knocking over a couple banks, well, you be my alibi and I'll be yours.

Koubou's BrushKoubou's Brush - If it's by Detarame Factory, you know it's gonna be cute, so brace yourself. After clicking the first icon on the grid to start (the others represent other short escape games!), you'll find yourself in a room with all manner of strange objects, not to mention a growling... thingy... in a... blanket?... guarding a crowbar. Haha, man, we've all been there, amirite? Figuring out what to do may be a little clunky at first, but once you start experimenting, you'll find this one weird and adorable in all the best possible ways.

We love escape games, and our readers love talking about them and sharing hints! How about you? Let us know what you think, ask for clues, or help out other players in the comments below.

Five Worlds Escape Walkthrough

Nature World

Look at the signpost for two clues.

10, 50, 30 arranged in a triangle; As pointing down, up, left, right, top right, bottom right.

Use one of the clues to open the toolbox (the green box on the left island).

Pretend the As are arrows.

Get a piece of rope, a magnet, and a pickaxe part from the toolbox.
Get: another piece of rope (middle of left island), a piece of string (wrapped around the tree trunk), and a stick (right island).
Assemble the pickaxe and the tied magnet.

Combine the stick and the pickaxe part by selecting one and dragging it over the other. Do the same with the string and magnet.

Use the tied magnet to acquire the anchor.
Use the pickaxe to acquire the bone, the fire stones, and the map.

The bone is on the left side of the left island. The fire stones are that round rock on the right side of the left island. The map is behind where the fire stones were.

Get the tricky third piece of rope.

Look at the map, or rather behind and to the left of the map.

Corral yourself a hot-air balloon.

Combine the three pieces of rope with the anchor, then use the combination on the balloon visible in the distance on the right.

Use the bone to unlock Desert World.

Put the bone on the bone-shaped space on the map.

Desert World

Click the man to find out what he wants.

He's thirsty.

Get the branch (in front of the man).
Click the box on the left and use the clue from the signpost to open it.

Drag the bubbles to the sides of the box so that they add up to the appropriate numbers.

The big bubbles are 15, the medium ones 10, and small ones are 5. Remember that you want the top to have 10, the left to have 50, and the right to have 30.

There are multiple ways to solve this; the easiest is probably to put a medium bubble on top, two big bubbles on the right, and the remaining bubbles on the left.

Get the sphere from the box and use it to unlock Snow World.

Snow World

Click the man to find out what he wants.

He wants to add to his collections of cans.

Get the dry leaves (on the left), the empty bottle (in the doorway of the igloo), and the crowbar (on the right).
Click the note on the igloo.

Get the starfish and note the code (23123123).

Use the starfish to unlock Sea World.

Sea World

Click the squid to see what it wants.

Crystals.

Get the valve from the left and the cracker from the right.
Use the code from the igloo to solve the fish puzzle.

Clicking a fish makes the bubble move to it.

Click the blue and yellow fish, then the black and white fish, then Nemo, ahem, sorry, the orange and white fish. Rinse and repeat until the bubble stops moving and the squid throws an empty can on the ground. Well, water, but whatever.

Get the can.
Click the sign for a clue.

An S and a backward S, weirdly segmented? Another way to think of it is four circles: the top left half of the top left circle, the top right half of the top right circle, the bottom right half of the bottom left circle, and the bottom left half of the bottom right circle.

Nature World

Give the cracker to the bird; get the feather.
Use the valve on that thing with the pressure gauge on the left island; get the fly.
Use the flat rock, the leaves, the branch, and the fire stones to assemble yourself a torch.

Put the dry leaves on the flat rock on the left island. Put the branch on top, then use the fire stones to light the leaves. Pick up the now-lit branch.

Desert World

Use the crowbar to open the barrel; get the corkscrew.
Use the corkscrew to open the empty bottle.
Use the feather to unlock Flying World.

Flying World

Click the penguin to see what it wants.

Something about the key of nature?

Get the shovel from in front of the penguin.
Click the toolbox on the left and use the clue from Sea World to open it. Get the key.
Use the cork to plug the hole in the rock above the little green guy on the left. Get dream number 1.
Use the fly on the flower on the far left. Get the crystal.

Snow World

Give the can to the man. Get dream #2.
Use the torch on the snow on the rock on the left. Collect the melted snow in the empty bottle.

Sea World

Give the crystal to the squid. Get dream #3.
Use the key to open the chest on the right; get the weird symbol (confusingly, also called a "key").

Desert World

Give the water to the man. Get dream #4.

Nature World

Use the shovel to dig up the spot on the right island. Get the lever.

Flying World

Give the symbol/key to the penguin. Get dream #5.
Put the lever into the slot on the right side of the tree trunk contraption thingy.
Put the five dreams into the funnel on top of the contraption.
Pull the lever, then click the sparkles.

Hints Koubou's brush -
You will use each color of paint twice.
Also, you need to replace the bulls ear and eye to get the object in its mouth.

Reality Warning: Do not put gasoline in an oil lamp, (even if it is green) and especially do not light gasoline with a match, regardless of where you have put it.

The dogs in the Vitamin Hana game all look like Stewie Griffin.

I'm just going to free these dogs before their entirely delinquent owner returns. These are not appropriate dog toys AT ALL.

It's likely kerosene in that container. Kerosene heaters are fairly common in japan.
