Weekday Escape

GrinnypSoothing is the best descriptor of a Tomatea game, and Snowflake Night fits right into that oeuvre with its serene backgrounds, lilting music, and gentle puzzles. Start up the game and let the overall experience wash away any mid-week frustrations as you navigate around the beautiful space and let the calming music flow as you skip lightly from one puzzle to the next in this captivating room escape.

Snowflake NightA glowing cursor indicates hot-spots and frustration is kept to a minimum with Tomatea's unusual habit of not letting you even attempt to solve a puzzle until you've seen or found a hint for it. This habit of blocking puzzles keeps the game-playing flow linear making Snowflake Night a wonderful, relaxing treat.

Had a rough week at work or school? Stressed out waiting for the weekend? Take a deep breath, let it out, and experience the joy of Snowflake Night, a calming experience no matter what the reason.

That was fairly easy, but not in a bad way.

Out without a walkthrough. Rare for me. Well composed game.

About the snowglobe:

First, you don't just type the code into it. It's not useful until you've found something else related to it first.

Second, the code may be six or seven long. I had to try both several times before I got one of them to work. Bug ? Me having fumble-fingers ? Not sure.

This is the second tomatea escape game that doesn't work for me. Could it be because I'm in Brazil?

Reply

Wow, didn't even need any hints for this one. Quite enjoyable, but super easy and short. Actually, I wish all escape games were like this one.

Reply

This is my favorite of the Tomatea escape games so far :)
All the puzzles flowed well.

@pesky

I'm pretty sure the snow globe code is six long.

Reply

I am so stuck. There doesn't seem to be a clue related to the snowflake puzzle on the wall...

Reply

I have a few mysteries on my hands here... Why is the

Christmas tree star blinking

where is the last

key for the door below the candles

and where oh where is the

clue for the snowflake picture

???

Reply

Also, I have not used the

wind up key from the clock

anywhere yet... HELP!!

Out without any help! Woohoo!

Lovely little escape game with logical puzzles....really enjoyed this.

Snowflake puzzle

the snowflake puzzle is its own clue. Don't expect some other guide to it. Look at what things you can move, and how they relate to each-other.

Also the other 'mysteries' you posted are for things that come close to the end of the escape. You'll figure them out when you get closer.

Reply

Easy but there sure are a few facepalm moments along the way!

Reply

Follow-up to what pesky said about the snowglobe:

If it's still in your inventory, you're not ready for the code yet.

Reply

Rhed:

I was stuck on the snowflake puzzle for a little while too, but it's much easier than you think. Each row has to look the same, and there are only two variations for the rows. Look to the upper left for a clue. Once you open that, all your other questions will be answered.

anyone got a walkthrough soon?

One thing I dislike about the games from this maker are the constant "I have no clue how to solve this!" messages, which block you from experimenting with the various puzzles in the game. I love playing around with stuff in escape games, but these won't let me. =/ It makes the games too linear and instead of feeling like I'm working to solve puzzles, I feel like I'm having the game tell me what to do next all the time.

Love jayisgames! Fairly new to escape games, but am addicted and so look forward to the Wednesday Weekday Escape. I think this is the first I've solved without any hints. Such fun! As someone else said, this is also my favorite of the Tomatea escapes, and not just because I was able to solve it on my own. Everything flowed so beautifully.
Thanks for providing this site!

Every time I open it, the ending screen (with replay on it) comes up, and then it goes completely white, and I can't do anything.

Wow! Nice one with great flow. Easy to work. Done by myself rather quickly!
