Return of the Tentacle
In a debut of a fan-beloved original, Day of the Tentacle, Return of the Tentacle delivers a thrilling, pun and comedy filled point-and-click adventure. Purple Tentacle is back with an ambitious plan to conquer the world, seek revenge, and worst of all, wants to make sure to kill you first! What's more there are the two telltale signs that it's not some lookalike or wannabe. One: he left a note scrawled on purple paper! And two: it's signed at the bottom, "Insincerely Yours, Purple!"
You will soon meet the characters of Bernard, Hoagie, Laverne, and Dr. Fred, as apparently you still have some unfinished business with the Edisons. Apparently he wants to send you back in time to try and stop the events of the past day or two, using his signature Chron-o-wash invention to send you into the past. With a signature caricature cartoon style of animations and crafty puzzles to befall you at every turn, you will find yourself going from Eureka moments to simply scratching your head and back again. And although later on you can only control one of the characters at a time, some sense of cooperation will be required to successfully complete some of the puzzles! At times though, it'll feel like the three of you are a bit of a guinea pig squad.
In terms of controls, it is quite similar to old-style point-and-click games. At the bottom of your screen, you'll find a retractable inventory to hold all manner of crazy contraptions you will assemble around the mansion. Toward the bottom-right, you will be able to switch between your characters at certain stages of the game, as hinted towards earlier. You can click generally anywhere in a room to walk around, and on certain hotspots to prompt an interaction if applicable. Click on an item from your inventory, followed by another click on the environment to use that item on it. You will also be able to click on an item, then on one of the other characters in the bottom-right, to be able to pass items along, should you need someone else to use them.
Despite that it is billed only as a demo, Return of the Tentacle delivers a thrilling and mostly self-contained plot. Paired along with it is excellent voice acting of the characters. Of course, it wouldn't be good business to not invent a few cliffhangers toward the end, but I think you'll find a satisfying amount of content present throughout the game. And if all that's not enough for you, there's some achievement-hunting for the inner completionist in all of you!
(In)sincerely Yours,
Arceus

I actually finished this yesterday and quite enjoyed it. Some advice for players: right-click will skip dialogue, there's a hotkey that gets you to the savegames screen faster, and the game is also fully voice acted in German if you prefer that.
Henrydevid> What you just wrote made no sense at all.
This game is not in the app store. Only the original remastered Day of the tentacle is there.
I'm stuck at the moment.
Hoagie is not strong enough - how do I get those bowling balls on the pole? I suspect I might need to clean the coin first - so a hint on how to clean the coin might be relevant. Also - I have a long rope and scissors.
If you're still stuck on those, here are some hints for each thing you mentioned, from easiest to hardest.
Scissors
If you've used the scissors twice, I don't think you need them any more. (Haven't completed the secret achievements, so I can't say for sure.)
Coin cleaning
Surprisingly, you can't clean the coin with any water source. Perhaps you can get by without water?
Many people seem to also have gotten their coins rejected, as evidenced by...?
Long rope
Let me quote Bernard's description for the short rope:
"Ropes generally serve the purposes of conveying tractive forces due to their elastic properties. Thus, one is capable of moving things from a different location. Provided they are long enough."
What can you shift using a rope, and why would you need to do that?
"Moving things from" means you should be examining things you can adjust using a rope. Once you find it, it should be clear where this "different location" is.
Hoagie
It looks like you need some of that sticky stuff, but there isn't an accessible supply of it anywhere.
The last item you need is found in an area that opens up later. Go do someone else's quest.
I have heard that it is the unofficial sequel to the iconic adventure game "Day of the Tentacle". I had played Day of the Tentacle which is a mind-bending, time travel, cartoon puzzle adventure game.
I liked the Day of the Tentacle which is a special edition that has been thoughtfully restored and remade with the car.
But, before playing Return of the Tentacle make sure to read review about the game and have a completely barred and excellent experience.
