Kyhkyh_pot_screen.pngDon't you just hate when you're hungry for some lunch and when you sit down, ready to eat, you find that someone packed it in your puzzle lunch box? Or maybe you love it. Along the same lines of the Dismantlement series, Chovy Works brings us Pot, a point-and-click puzzle game where the ultimate goal is a scrumptious noodle lunch. Just click around the pot for clues, trying to find your way inside by deciphering puzzles. Sure, it's on the easy side, but any fan of the genre won't be able to stop themselves from giving it a try. It's a cute and quirky distraction during your much simpler lunch break. Now if you'll excuse me, I need to figure out how to take a sip from my water bottle...

Walkthrough Guide

Walkthrough

  • Rotate Right, and press the button.

  • Rotate left, left and notice the symbols.

  • Turn Right, down, Notice the symbols around the dial. Turn dial to correct symbol.

  • Up up, Rotate dial to Correct symbol. This removes the top.

  • Double click on the top, and notice that the dial moves. Click on it till it comes off.

  • Then look underneath the top and find that there's a key.

  • Then double click on the dial, and look what's underneath. (a cog?)

  • Then Click on the dial again, and find that it too becomes a component.

  • Back to the pot.

  • Notice that glowing switch? Click it, Which stops the turning dial, then offer up the cog to the hole.

  • When the design on the big cog lines up, with the switch again. (there should be a dark spot at 12 o'clock)

  • Click on the now stopped cogs and remove them. Then have a look at the cogs. What's that on the back? Fish rolls?

  • Now have a look at the clockwork lid. On the back is the word get.

  • Click on the bottom of the back to go back to the front. And click-click-click that switch.

  • Then check the back. If the ovoid shaped part doesn't come off, go back to the front, and click the switch a few more times.

  • Now back to the pot.

  • Chopsticks? and a lock. Use the key.

  • Now a hole, and another cover. Luckily we have a dial with a handy point on it.

  • Put the dial on the hole, lift the lid, and as everything else has had something stuck to the back of it, check out the red-white lid.

  • On the back is.. (what I'm guessing is sea weed. Or possibly kelp. Or indeed guyoza. (That's Japanese steamed/fried dumplings)

  • Put the Lunch ingredients in the nice warm Bowl of broth, and sit back whilst someone adds noodles and freshly chopped bunching onions.

  • Enjoy. (Damn, I'm hungry now)

For: Cat19237

Click on the pink switch when the pattern on the large cog matches what's underneath.

Also just keep double checking items.

Good luck

Gemlad: I completely agree. That part made no sense and was somewhat irritating.

Short, and only slightly resembles dismantlement. But still fun.

Gemlad and The Logical Ghost:

For the solution to the

Boiled Egg Puzzle, every time you clicked the lever, the various lines changed colors until finally the word Get turned red. When that happened you could take the egg.

The link seems broken. Can't open it using Firefox this morning.

The solution to the boiled egg puzzle

Is from a Japanese game (called Ghost I think) that I've seen in a few other Japanese escape games. You follow the solid lines, changing direction when a break is seen. Changing the darkened lines using the lever changes the path, with only one solution having you follow the lines to the egg.

Can't open with IE or Chrome. Alternate link?

Sites not working! hope they fix it soon so I can play

More of a webtoy than a game I think - good for a little distraction, and makes way the heck more sense than Dismantlement, although having mechanized gears in one's bento box is a stretch.

For several days I can't get to it in Firefox, I get an error "The connection has timed out".

Cute little short game. Like it.
