Monkey GO Happy Ninjas 2

Monkeys, monkeys, everywhere, and not a drop to drink!... wait, that's not how that quote goes. That better not be how that quote goes. In Pencil Kids' point-and-click game Monkey GO Happy Ninjas 2, the land is, as it happens, practically heaving with little monkeys (70 of them, in fact!), and all of them are dressed like tiny ninjas. You'll need to solve puzzles and help people to find them all, so get clicking! The cursor will change when it passes over something you can interact with, and the big yellow arrows will take you to different areas. Like all Monkey GO Happy games, this one is bright, colourful, and designed to be the sort of thing you can relax with for a coffee break rather than crack open your gray matter for a long time. While finding 70 monkeys sounds like a lot, each screen is packed with them, and most of their hiding places are fairly obvious, and the inclusion of a few light puzzles makes this another game just right for young nerds-to-be (or the young at heart) to cut their teeth on.

Too long for this style... Would have been better served as three little adventures.

Hmmm.... I can't seem to find the clue for the

pull chain puzzle

I'm guessing that solving it reveals

the sushi

The last monkey took forever to find, I was basically just clicking everything, everywhere, indiscriminately.

It took me a while to find the last one. I was the baby monkey, and I don't know if it's the same for the other characters but the last monkey was blocked by one of my little minions,

under the fire-breathing dragon.

I noticed those mentioned in your third clue but I thought

the holes in the trees were vital to the solution of the chain which tripped me up.

@Jamilworm thank you for that hint.

I really liked it! Monkey Go Happy is always fun. I prefer when they make them like this, I like it when they have big games with multiple scenes and things to solve. I ran into the same thing as Jamilworm, though thankfully I noticed it fairly soon. I think it's just bad game design on their part. But the rest of it was fun.

Walkthrough

Start off by grabing the helm from the statue in the woods. Go to the bridge which leads to the dojo and give the helm to the man blocking your way. Collecting all spikes and monkeys, proceed into the dojo.
The pattern for the 9 button lock can be found on the trees in the woods. From left to right, we have

top right, bottom left, middle, bottom right, top left.

Go to the stairs, where the ninja is and grab the rope from the ground. Place the staff in the statue’s hand and use the rope to go down the hole. Once you’re done with the picture puzzle, go to the dojo and use the mallet on the gong. Grab the bomb and the torch and head back to the hole.
Put the wing on the dragon statue and click on it. Light the torch and use it to scare the wolf away. Use the blow gun on the ninja that’s blocking the stairs. Go up the stairs and put the bomb on the pile of rocks, then light it up using the torch.
Inside the cave, use the torch to scare the huge spider. The answer to the puzzle on the wall can be found inside the dojo entrance, on the right wall and it is

6 on the top, 7 on the left, 8 on the right and 9 on the bottom side.

Grab the Umbrella and give it to the lady next to the waterfall. Use the Nunchucks on the ninja guarding the top building. Inside, you’ll find a puzzle with 6 chains. The pattern for it can be found in the gong room, inside the dojo. From left to right

1, 2, 3, 3, 2, 1

Once you have all the 20 Spikes, give them to the old man on the stairs. Grab the key and head back to the top room to unlock the cupboard. Use the knob on the wall next to the first ninja. Each symbol is present once within the areas and a monkey hides behind it. Simply rotate the knob towards the symbol you want and the hole will open.
Lastly, give the sushi to the sumo guy in the dojo to find another monkey.
