Monkey GO Happy Easter

DoraNothing turns a frown upside down faster than discovering candy and chocolate hidden around your house, unless it comes with the unsettling realization that all your doors have been locked, there's heavy breathing coming from your closet, and it isn't Easter. But in PencilKids' latest Monkey GO Happy point-and-click puzzle game Monkey GO Happy Easter, the chimps are looking to celebrate the holiday with a few coloured eggs. Just one. Or maybe more like one hundred. To find all of them, you'll have to click around to explore and solve puzzles, gathering items in your inventory at the top of the screen, after which you can just drag them anywhere onscreen to try to use them.

While one hundred eggs sounds like a whole lot, Monkey GO Happy Easter is still a very short game, with the lion's (rabbit's?) share of eggs just sitting out in plain sight in huge numbers. There are only a handful of actual puzzles that strike the usual Monkey GO Happy balance between using items in the appropriate place and hunting down codes to open locks. Some of the latter require you to really pay attention to your surroundings, but the game is still designed to be on the whole a sweet, simple treat anyone can enjoy, so don't be put off if you (or a kid you know!) aren't looking for a challenge. It's cute, colourful, and just the right length to enjoy a bit of electronic Easter entertainment before you get back to hunting or hiding your own holiday treats.

Monkey GO Happy Easter Walkthrough

This walkthrough helps finding all eggs that aren't hidden in plain sight or behind bunnies.

1.

Begin with going northeast. Get the match from the sign, and click the hen once to get a golden egg.

2.

Go back to the starting screen, and go east once. Grab the candy cane, and click the left tree to reveal some eggs.

3.

Go east to the muffin, and click the rightmost tree to reveal some eggs. Look at the windows of the building in the background, and remember the code.

4.

Go east to the chocolate waterfall, and use the candy cane to get the chocolate bunny on the boat. Put the golden egg in the holder to get another egg.

5.

Go west twice to the man in blue hat, and give him the chocolate bunny. Input the code you saw on the windows to the right in the bottom of the building, and get the eggs and the red key.

6.

Go west twice, and click on the lollipop and the tree to reveal some eggs. Unlock the door with the red key, and enter.

7.

Look at the wall to the right of the wall safe, and remember the direction of the arrows, and their size.

8.

Go back to the candle, and input the code from the house. The inner circle shall point west, the middle shall point southwest, and the outer circle south.

9.

Light the match, and go west. Enter the house and use the candy cane to remove the block in the ground. Climb down.

10.

Put the lit match in the holder to the left, and get the spoon. Zoom in on the wall safe to see the word "Bunny". Zoom out again.

11.

The squares on the left and right side tells you which letter is responding to which number. The word "Bunny" is equal to the combination "87339".

12.

Zoom in on the wall safe, and input the combination "87339" to reveal some eggs.

13.

Go back to the muffin, and use the spoon on it to reveal a golden key. Go to the house, enter it, and unlock the wall safe with the golden key to reveal some eggs.

14.

Enjoy the ending, or backtrack to find the last eggs you didn't find.
