JayIsGames reader Gabriel recently pointed us to a new version of the room escape game Il Destino, appropriately called Il Destino R. It isn't a sequel, but the puzzles are different, items have moved around, new items make an appearance, and there are a few extra nooks and crannies to uncover. The layout and visuals are identical in both games, but R offers more challenge and features a completely different car on center stage.
Your father, a famous car designer, created a vehicle based on your boyhood drawings. He sold it shortly after it was built. You thought you'd never see it again. Years later your father hands you the keys to his showroom and says the car is yours. If you can get it out of the building.
Navigating the game is as simple as clicking the mouse. Use the on-screen arrows to move and click on objects to interact with them. Items will often need to be used in conjunction with each other, so keep trying different combinations to see what you can come up with. If you played Il Destino (which you should), you'll know your way around the room, but then you're on your own. It's a good challenge and a great way to squeeze more fun out of a sharp-looking title. Walkthrough Guide

Yea, this is my first chance ever to write a walkthrough for a game. And I'm the first one to do it in the comments. I'm extremely excited about this. Spoilers galore below, so please use it as a last resort if you can't solve the game yourself.
Alright here's what you do.
I like circling around the downstairs first to get what I can before I have to backtrack.
Get the ashtray from the table with the tea stuff.
(Four rods: Green Rod- clock, need grabber from upstairs; Orange Rod- front door, click on left door handle; Red Rod- inside post at the top of the stairs
Blue Rod- inside box upstairs)
Empty ashes in the garbage can. You'll need the flashlight before you can see the 3-number password on the bottom.
Grab the toy car from the seat by the computer. You'll need the screwdriver to get the key to the safe that's hidden in it.
Get gray cellphone by opening up the blue book and clicking on the folded over page. You'll need to charge it before you can use it.
Get the Orange Rod from the front door's left handle.
Go upstairs.
Looking down from the top of the stairs, open up the post to get the Red Rod
Open up the top right drawer to receive the flashlight
Look to the left of the dresser to find the grabber
Look above to the left of the dresser to find the memory card case. You'll need the grabber to reach it
Look above and to the right of the dresser to find the charger. You'll need the grabber to reach it.
Go back to the top of the stairs and turn off the lights.
Go one screen to the left and use the flashlight on the floor. Find the letters hidden there. These letters will be used on the computer later.
Use the flashlight on the ashtray. These numberss will open up the box on the dresser.
Turn on the lights and go back to the dresser
Use the three numbers from the ashtray to open up the box. You will receive the Blue Rod and screwdriver.
Go downstairs since there is nothing left to do upstairs
Use screwdriver on car. This will give you a key. You will need this key to open up the safe.
Go to the table. Zoom in and click on the back left chair. It will move and reveal an electrical outlet. Use this to plug in the charger, and then plug in the gray cellphone. This will charge it. Step away and come back to the phone. It will be charged by then.
Grab gray cellphone. Open it and send message to dad. Close cellphone.
After a moment, open it again. You will receive mail (a new item). Open mail.
Play Zuno. Pay attention to what numbers have the yellow car each round. This is the combination to the safe.
Go to clock. Use grabber to get Green Rod.
Use password (4 yellow cars from Zuno) and key from box to open safe. You will get the car key. Open box that is also in safe to get red cellphone.
Open red cellphone to get memory card.
Put memory card in memory card case
Go to laptop. Put memory card case in card reader. Turn on computer. Type in 3 letters you got from upstairs on the floor. Memory card is changed into an electronic key.
Grab card/key.
Go to "very strong lock." Place for rods in their places. Use card/key.
Go to car door. Use car key.
You are done. Congrats.
