The latest Neat Escape's game starts like an ordinary bus tour. You arrived with a guided group to a new dam facility but during the tour you're struck by sudden realisation that your group with the guide is gone and you're locked up! Yay! You can escape from this place on your own and definitely see more than the guide promised!
You were right. That place is interesting indeed and with a huge map of the world seems like a control room of an important organisation. So, lets start - your first objective is to get out of the control room and then find an exit, preferably near a bus stop to be able to return without complications. A level of inner security is not high, luckily, and the cards opening doors aren't difficult to find - on the other hand, the rooms you can enter aren't the rooms where would an unwelcomed visitor be able to empty the dam or do any other harm. Just a day room, a rest room or a meeting room, and air-conditioning system, everything tidy and polished, even AC pipes. Nice.
As many Neat Escape's games, this one has two endings, and as usual, a blue key fits two locks so don't forget to save your progress before you use it. The second ending definitely worth playing - you can explore more places and solve more puzzles. Overall it's very good and clever game - enjoy!
Thank you for the warning about the blue key, chrpa. I always miss the presence of that second ending, and have to go entirely back through it!
There's an unexpected bit of 3D fiddling with a clue early in this game. If you are stuck, try clicking/tapping and dragging on things. Specifically:
The odd cylinder-looking device with blue and yellow ends found in the middle locker in the water (?) room can be moved in 3D. Click/tap and, while holding, drag around the game area to rotate the object. It reveals…
the solution for the four-color keypad on the left locker.
There's 3D fiddling on more than one clue in this game, and the controls are terrible. The clues found in the
capsule sleeping rooms under the pillows
are a particular nightmare. Holding a click and moving the mouse repeatedly in a single direction seemed to work best for me.
Apart from the dreadful 3D controls, this was quite an enjoyable game! The path to the second ending is impossible to miss, and the puzzles on that route are easy enough.
Stuck with:
unopened bottle of water, screwdriver used to obtain a battery
I was able to open the 1st door to enter the back area, but haven't been able to open any of the locked doors back there. Feeling stupid today.
Tried something I thought I tried already and it worked this time and I got a key! Off I go!
Seems funny that
of the two endings,
the "bad" ending is
the shorter pathway, but you miss the bus
but the "good" ending is
the longer pathway but you still make it back in time to have lunch with the bus tour!
Perhaps the fact that the clocks never change indicates a strange phenomenon with time! Ha!
