Yuri's troupe of adorably cute baby birds wants you to cool off with a scoop of delicious ice cream and a game of Chick Hide and Seek 9. They're hiding all around the ice cream parlor, camouflaged by color or obscured by locked doors. Or the ever-effective method of hands over eyes ("You can't see me if I can't see you!"). Locate and click on each until you've gathered all ten and they'll reveal the secret code to escape-the-room. Without a changing cursor, you'll need to click liberally while using found objects and clues for the smattering of puzzles throughout. Just remember they are tiny peeps who can fit just about anywhere and the pixel hunt won't be unbearable. Happiest yet, it's perfectly sized for a short summery break or whenever you need a cuteness infusion. Can I get a collective Awww right now?

Chick Hide and Seek 9 Walkthrough
You begin facing the ice cream freezer...
Look closer at the poster on the right: there is the first CHICK (1/10) hiding in the bottom right corner.
The freezer is locked, so we need to find a key.
Turn left to face the door and a giant triple-scoop statue...
Zoom in on the flowers to find another CHICK (2/10) peeking out from behind the flower on the right.
Next, lift up all the giant ice cream scoops - pink, yellow and green - to get CHICK (3/10) from under the last scoop.
Also take the ICE CREAM SCOOPER from the left side of the cone stand.
Take another left turn. "Ice Cream" is written on the wall and on the front of an ice cream case. There is also a red door in the wall...
Click on the left side of the case to see it's unplugged.
Plug in the cord and back up. Now you can see the shadow of a chick on the top of the case.
Click the shadow get CHICK #4.
Hidden on the "R" of the large lettering is CHICK #5.
Before backing up from the "ICE CREAM" letters, peek under a section of the awning to get CHICK #6.
The red door needs a 3-digit code, so we'll have to come back to it.
Once more to left to the tables and chairs...
The little house on the shelf needs a code: three colors that are big, medium and small...
Use the clue from the large ice cream cone statue by the door.
SOLUTION:
Top (small) = PINK (5 clicks)
Middle (medium) = YELLOW (3 clicks)
Bottom (large) = GREEN (1 click)
Open the door and get:
CHICK #7
and a KEY.
Check under the back table to find CHICK #8.
Is that a yellow scoop of ice cream on the front table or...
another chickie hiding in the cup?
Pick up the SPOON and use the spoon on the yellow "ice cream" to get CHICK #9.
Turn left to face the freezer again...
Use the KEY to unlock the freezer case and open the lid:
Use the ICE CREAM SCOOP on the yellow, pink and green ice creams (top row) to get a 3-digit number.
Also make a note of the number of circles in the brown, green and purple ice creams.
Turn around twice and examine the red door in the wall...
Enter the code you got from the ice creams in the freezer case.
SOLUTION:
3 8 6
Open the door to get the last CHICK (10/10).
With all ten chicks found, they'll assemble themselves throughout the room to give you the last clue...
Turn to examine each wall. The number of chicks standing by a symbol give you the number and the symbol for the exit code.
SOLUTION:
1 = plate of green and white ice creams
2 = a single scoop of mint chip in a sugar cone
3 = a carton of ice cream ("cup ice")
4 = a triple scoop of pink, yellow and green ice creams
Enter that code into the panel by the door and click the red rectangle
Back up and open the door to exit.
