In Carmel Games' short point-and-click adventure Cap'n Marcela's Winter Wonderland, it's beginning to look a lot like Christmas for our favourite flame-haired pirate, which is a problem, since the merchandise she's ordered to stock the town's Winter Wonderland celebration is nowhere to be found. Turns out it's actually frozen inside a giant iceberg... but since when has that ever stopped anyone? To play, just click to interact with people and objects, and hunt through the town for items you need to solve puzzles. Puzzles that'll be fairly familiar to you if you've played a recent Carmel Games title (they sure do like those scrambled pictures), but still make for a short, happily seasonal adventure that'll let you build a snowmaaaaaaaaaan... kinda.
Full Walkthrough!
Just played the game!
I could not find a written walkthrough anywhere so I decided to create one.
1- Proceed to the Rusty Anchor and speak to Vinnie about his outrageous prices and great decorations.
2- Go left and speak to the 2 men in the booths.
3- Click underneath the green door in the right corner- notice there is a crack in the wood.
4- Go right 2 times and speak to the boy about his snowman and notice there is a gold coin stuck in the ice.
5- Go right and pick up the sharp piece of wood then proceed into the post office and speak to the pirate also notice the key in stuck in the ice- you will need to get to the key.
6-Leave, go left and use the sharp piece of wood on the gold coin, it will fall out, take it and bring it to the man in the booth, you will then need to solve his puzzle.
7- He will give you a bolt cutter, go back to the Rusty Anchor and use it on the grate in the floor.
8- Give the map to Vinnie he will give you a bottle of rum, give the rum to the other booth owner.
9- Then solve his puzzle wheel, he will give you an umbrella.
10- Go back to the front of the post office and use the umbrella on the well to retrieve a bucket.
11- Give the bucket to the young boy building the snowman in exchange for some tweezers which if you remembered, you will use it in the crack in the wood.
12- It will give you a .... LIGHTER! To melt the iceberg of course!
13- Give the nice pirate the key in exchange for Marcela's packages!
