elleelle_bunnysroomescape2_image2.pngThe Christmas tree is still up, the bubbly remains corked, and Bunny's future is so bright, he's got to wear shades. Hmm. Isn't that how it goes? Strawberry Café must think so in Bunny's Room Escape 2, tossing a tropical hibiscus blossom in with holiday lights, champagne flutes set by rosé wine to form no clear theme at all. Never you mind why, just grab up as many cool pink sunglasses as you can hold and figure out how to escape this place.

Using mouse clicks to navigate, click on something interesting for a look-see or snag it for your sleuthing arsenal, then select it from your inventory to put it to use. You won't find many puzzles to hang you up and there's even a hipster cat to lend a hand. We're not talking a long, leisurely process here, only a brisk escape-the-room game just for kicks. So snap to it, daddy-o!

Walkthrough: Bunny's Room Escape 2

  1. Arrive to see Bunny lounging about on his recliner...

    • Is he sunburnt or just very, very pink? Let's take a closer look (click to zoom in).

    • And, really, must he wear sunglasses indoors? (Grab the PINK SUNGLASSES off his face).

    • Rose wine and champagne flutes...let's see what's on this laptop, just click the little blue on button here...password protected! Hmm, must be a clue somewhere. Back up.

    • Over in the corner of that giant hibiscus wall mural (really?!)...something on the ledge:

      • A jar of BLUE BERRY JAM. Just take a look, what is this about, it's empty except:

      • A NOTE -- Some cryptic clue about the PC password.

      1OOO
      2OOOO
      3OO

Take a look at the jar again to get the answer; it's...

      B B J

    • Sweet! Time to sneak a peak into the laptop.

  2. Log in to the computer...

    • Type in the pass code you got from the blueberry jam jar, and hit "enter":

    • BBJ

    • There are five folders, each with a colored tab.

    • Randomly open a folder...okay, randomly open the purple folder:

      • Looks like you need a five-color code. But which five colors? Look around the room. Uh-huh, as you suspected. Plenty of pink, but not much else to indicate the colors... So, perhaps the answer is in the laptop itself?

      • Check out the folders again.

        red -- blue -- yellow -- purple -- green

      • Wow! Dinner from the sky! Grab those PINK SUNGLASSES.

  3. Noticing the red box by the window, your curiosity is peaked...

    • Well, there is an "H" pattern of buttons on it. Mr. Pink's laptop probably has a clue...

    • Red. No. That would be too obvious. A little look-see in the blue folder tells all...

Follow the pattern of the stars and press the buttons in that order:

      1---6

      4-7-3

      5---2

    • Open the red box to find:

      • SUNGLASSES (they're pink, big surprise, that.)

      • a KEY with a Christmas tree on it.

  4. That Hipster Cat

    • Turn left from the red box to notice Cat chilling next to that cool shiny wall. Let's leave him alone a sec, and turn left again to check out the door...

      • See that HAT in the corner? For some reason Dr. Suess comes to mind...

      • Give the hat to the cat. Then...

Take the REMOTE from his mouth.

    • Open the remote in your inventory and click it to activate a "scene" on the wall. It's either telling you that trees like to wear glasses or...Well, deal with that part later. There's also an arrow pointing...where exactly?

    • Go in for a closer look and you'll see a keyhole. Use the key in the keyhole...

    • Yep. Another pair of PINK SUNGLASSES.

  5. Time to Put Up the Christmas Tree

    • Three folders are left, look in the first one again--seven yellow duckies.

    • Rifle through the other folders and see if you can find more clues:

    • The yellow folder perhaps?

Seven dice, but what is the connection?

      • Click on each duckling the number of times shown on the dice...

      • Or, better, change the direction of the odd numbered ducks.

      • When done, the ducks should be facing this way:

      • right-right-left-right-left-left-right

    • Tree's up. Now, according to the scene on the other wall, there's probably some glasses involved.

    • Click just to the right side of the tree's ugly stand; there you'll find a pair of SUNGLASSES.

  6. The Last Folder and Exiting

    • First, highlight the sunglasses in your inventory. Then, click on the odd green box on the Christmas tree; watch the pattern of the, um, sunglass lights.

    • From that hint, you know how to access the green folder in the computer:

    • red---white

      white-white

      red---red

      red---white

      white-red

    • Good, door is open...but wait, are you just going to leave Bunny like that?

    • Click on the green tree box again to retrieve another pair of PINK SUNGLASSES.

Give the sunglasses back to Bunny (although you really don't have to if you really don't want to).

Bye Bunny. Bye Cat. Happy New Year!

Colorblind Solution for the Fourth Folder:

4 clicks -- 2 clicks -- no clicks -- 1 click -- 3 clicks

Thanks to elle for the great walkthrough! :)

Pretty dull and too easy (and I'm not that good!). We know Strawberry Cafe can do better.

An average game, made way more enjoyable by all those references to Tiger and Bunny. The fried rice made me smile.

i get 403 forbidden, WHY??

[I don't know why, but Strawberry Cafe has made their games unreachable for certain geographic locations. It's based on your IP address and whether it's in a certain range. You can try reaching it via a proxy server. -Jay]

Got stuck and had to check the walkthrough to find out that a place I tried to click several times before was supposed to do something. So I had to go back and hunt for the magic interaction pixel to move forward. ;P
