Bundle Bounty

DoraWith Christmas right around the corner, you might be saying, "But Dora, this is the worst possible time to be spending money on a bunch of games!" To that I say, "WRONG! Foolish mortal, this is the best possible time to be spending money on a bunch of games!" Now's your chance to pick up a bunch of great games on the cheap you can use as digital stocking stuffers for the nerdy in your life... or, okay, yes, add to your growing library of electronic joy. This week has a little sumpin' sumpin' for everyone, from some huge classic indie RPGs, top-down space shooting action, visual novel rrrrrrrrrrrrromance, indie adventure, and much, much more.

Humble Weekly Bundle: RPG Edition Book 1
Developer(s): Spiderweb Software, Bossa Studios, Tin Man Games, Interdimensional Games, Sherman3D, 8-bit Studio, Robotality, Chucklefish
Genre(s): Action/Adventure, RPG, Strategy
Platform: Varies
Cost: No minimum, more games unlocked at certain prices. ($10.00USD for all seven.)
Seller: Humble Weekly Bundle
DRM: Redeems on Steam, 3 offer DRM-Free downloads
Summary: If you're looking for a bundle seller with a great reputation, you can't really do much better than the folks at the Humble Bundle, who arguably started bundle-mania with the original Humble Indie Bundle. This bundle contains Skara: The Blade Remains, Alpha Kimori: Episode 1, Avadon 2: The Corruption for whatever price you like, while Consortium, Fighting Fantasy: The Forest of Doom, Deep Dungeons of Doom will be added if you pay more than the current average ($5.41USD as of this writing), and $10.00USD will get you all of those and Halfway. These are all some really stellar indie titles... anything by indie veteran Spiderweb Software alone is going to guarantee you a lot of hours!

The Debut 22 Bundle
Developer(s): roseVeRte, SparseGameDev, Panda Studio, Plastic Games, Immanitas Entertainment, halfgeekstudios, Sometimes You
Genre(s): Visual Novel, Shooter, Simulation, Arcade Action, Real-Time Strategy, Physics Puzzle
Platform: Varies
Cost: $1.49USD
Seller: Indie Royale
DRM: DRM-Free
Summary: For a lot of developers, getting their game on Steam, with its massive user base, is a very big goal, and trying to get noticed through Steam's Greenlight service can be seriously tricky. All the games here are up for voting on Greenlight, but you can grab them now DRM-Free! The bundle includes East Tower - Aiko, Star-Twine, Cruel Arena, Bit Shifter, Bomb the Monsters!, Star Nomad, and Make it Indie, which is a ton for only a little bit more than your average candy-bar. This is one seriously diverse pack when it comes to content too, so if you're looking to try a little bit of everything, it could be calling your name!

Reboot 9.0 Bundle
Developer(s): Tragnarion Studios, Zaxis Games, B-evil, Enter Skies, tinyBuild, 2DArray, Size Five Games
Genre(s): Point-and-Click Adventure, Action, Stealth, RPG
Platform: Varies (many Win/Mac compatible)
Cost: $2.99USD
Seller: Bundle Stars
DRM: Redeems on Steam
Summary: Scourge: Outbreak, 99 Levels to Hell, Fearless Fantasy, No Time to Explain, Not the Robots, Time Gentlemen, Please!, and Ben There, Dan That! for a pittance? Uh... yes, please. While this is another mixed bag of genres, many of them are available for multiple platforms, and the inclusion of Time Gentlemen, Please! and Ben There, Dan That! should be enough to sell you on it if you have any interest in funny games whatsoever.
