Weekday EscapeIt's Wednesday and since it's Wednesday, it's time for relaxing break!

Luckily for us, escapers, Neat Escape is very fertile last months! In this remake of their older game you wake up in a depot, in empty coach obviously designated for escape. After train escape Selfdefiant entices you into dark asylum (the bait is your girlfriend), shuts the door behind you and doesn't let you out until you exorcise it. With Funkyland you visit much friendlier place - nice cafe with top notch interior design and beautiful inner garden.

Have a good time and enjoy!

Tales of Nebezem: Gnomish PlotArceusIn the strange world of the northern lowlands, governed by the Order, lies a thriving society built on community. Taken to the extreme, they even believe that all children belong to all of society communally. To this end, you follow the journey of a lumberjack alongside his trusty son, who he must deposit in the care of the Children's Home to be raised by mentors. Unfortunately, along the way, he encounters some nature-dwelling gnomes that have their own ideas for the human child. Gnomes may be generally harmless, but this isn't stopping our tree-felling friend from taking matters into his own hands and getting his son back!

Bomb Squad AcademyArceusNormally, if someone tells you to have a blast, it's to wish you well and hope that you have a great time. Things are somewhat different, however, at your new job in the Bomb Squad Academy. As a matter of fact, your very occupation is the antithesis of making things go boom. Your objective is to successfully diffuse electrical circuits hooked up to a live (virtual, fortunately!) bomb and disable them, often with a timer running in the background. You'll have several instruments to aid you in your task, including wire cutters and the ability to flip switches thus controlling the path of electrical circuits.

Weekday EscapeHello! The new Weekday Escape has just arrived! Aries Escape takes you to a karaoke room - not to test your singing skills and voice, but to prove your escaping ability. In case you pass the test (you will, I'm sure) tomoLaSiDo locks you in another room - a familiar tune plays in the background, and you need to find six balls (to get out) and eleven kettles (if you wish). Neat Escape wants you to escape from beautiful castle by the sea and your final escape is spectacular!

Have a good time and enjoy!

Cautionary TaleArceusOut of a bunch of visual novels I've checked out recently, Cautionary Tale is probably one had some of the most work and love poured into it. Despite the name, there are actually three stories contained within this game, and quite honestly, any of the three could stand on their own merit as an independent game. These narratives are as follows. First, when Alex Kartha is given a full scholarship to attend a prestigious boarding school, she hopes she can finally leave behind the things that have haunted her ever since a fatal car accident involving her and her parents. Second is what seems an ordinary winter day, with Eli about to confess to his childhood crush. And finally, you'll experience "The Flood," the story of a girl about to become a woman about to turn eighteen, having vivid nightmares of the apparent impending doom of becoming an adult.

Weekday Escape RetroAfter a long pause, Retro Weekday Escape is here for your retro fun!

We start with two games by Strawberry Cafe, both about bunnies heads spotting - sometimes you pick up some item, too - still, thinking where you haven't looked yet and where is hidden another bunny consumes most time. The silhouettes are not running around like the green guys, at least. Tateita takes you to the room with good and interesting puzzles, and finding their solution is satisfying. In SuzumeDr's locker room are eight smaller puzzles (how to open each locker) and one big (how to deduce the code for door lock from ten hints).

Have a good time and enjoy!

Medieval Angel - My Uprising Part 2ArceusIn the first part of this episode, author of the Medieval Cop/Dregg Morriss VasantJ saga left us hanging on all the important questions. Questions such as: how will Amber Heart and her friend Mel Vin ever escape the fowl play at the hands of the chickens? How do you launch a sneak attack if your friend insists on screaming upon entry? What awful puns will they have to endure this time?

Note: Before playing this game, you may wish to check out the previous episodes in Medieval Angel series, as well as Part 1.

Warning: If you haven't played Part 1, this review may contain plot spoilers. Proceed at your own risk!

The Shadows That Run Alongside Our CarArceusThere's no time for an explanation. Hop in the car with a complete stranger and have him gun it. You're in too much pain for anything else as the melancholy of it all comes crashing down on your heads, like a tarp thrown suddenly over the world. Not a lot seems clear at the outsight of this venture other than the beginning of the end is settings in, as both of your eyes droop with the need for sleep. The gas in the car is only going to last for so long and inevitably, it seems the car will come to a stop at some point. In the meantime, the only question is how much you want to confide in your newfound partner, and whether you will survive the upcoming night.

Weekday EscapeAnother week is over...really...but that means that another Weekday Escape is here!

You wake up locked in a hospital room without pain or any injury...having amnesia - this could be a start of dark thriller, but Neat Escape decided otherwise, and a good escape game was created! Relaxing Den of the Kamo is soft and tender, with plenty of books and clever puzzles - retro Hottategoya's game just thematically fits with all the books.
Your collegues are hiding somewhere around your work place in No1game's game...you know them, green sneaky guys, they are able to hide anywhere, even change their size and looks...will you find them and will you capture them?

Have a good time and enjoy!

Practice RunArceusThese days, there seem to be robots for almost everything. So why not outsource a robot to a difficult, complicated, and very nuanced task. That's right, you've conscripted your favorite robot friend, Chip, to simulate going on a date with you!

There's a saying that all's fair in love and war, but what about cheating? Oh no, not the cheating on your lover kind, but cheating the system! After all, in Practice Run, your sole objective should you choose to accept it, is the accumulation of Romance Points. Perform well, and you will score points! Perform badly, however (like, not taking a shower in three days), and watch your score take a tumble.
