The Great Bedroom Escape
You might think that after escaping the kitchen only to find yourself locked in a living room, and then a bathroom, and then a basement, that we would learn not to get into tight situations such as these again. But then Mateusz Skutnik sends word of yet another installment in the Great Escape series and we're all lush with excitement. Somehow it just doesn't stand to reason. Or does it?

i too am stuck where everyone else is.
I love the visual style for these games and they're amusing and short, but i actually find them much more frustrating than Skutnik's other games. possibly because most of the time the solutions are really bizarre. this time though, i feel like i've tried to use every item on every conceivable thing, and nothing has done anything.

A walkthrough for the rest of the game:
use superglue from the closet with the ornament thing you already have (that used to be holding the closet shut) to make a hacksaw
Once you have that...
use the hacksaw on the bed post
and then
take the piece of wood you get, combine it with the fancy rope
and then
take what you have made and hang it off the phone (that is hanging off the light)
and finally
click on your hanging batting ram to break down the door and escape!
right completed game
get the phone, ear piece and clock first hang the clock from the light bulb (look up)then get the pen out of the top right draw. Use the pen on the cupboard and pick up the adornment that falls off. Get the rope from the left curtain. Set the clock on the window and set it to 2 o'clock the cat runs away get the key from underneath it. Unlock the cupboard get the glue pot (top left) combine the glue, ear piece and adornment to make the saw use the saw on the left bed post to get log. Use the rope and log to make " the kick ass battering ram" use that on the phone and your done

walkthrough
stuck in the bedroom
get the alarm clock off the nightstand by zooming in on the left nightstand and clicking the alarm clock
get the phone pieces in the same way, but click the earpiece and then the body of the phone
while zoomed in on the right nightstand, open the top drawer to get the ink pen
you can't get anything from any of the other drawers
go right one screen, note the time on the clock
go right one screen, and get the tie back from the left curtain aka, the fancy rope
set the alarm clock on the windowsill
remember the time on the clock? set the alarm clock to that time
get the key from under the cat
go right one screen and use the ink pen on the adornment of the door, then pick it up
use the key from under the cat to open the closet
get the glue from inside the closet
use the glue on the earpiece and adornment to make a saw
go right one screen, use the saw on the front right bedpost
go right one screen, look up, use the phone on the light, look down
use the rope on the log to make kick-ass battering ram!
use the ram on the phone hanging in front of the door
then click the battering ram and you're out! congrats!
YESS!!! I'm usually really bad at these and I have to wait for someone to post a walk through but with some tips from you other guys i figured out how to finish it!!
okay so I'm just gonna pick up where the rest of you guys left off. Most of you
got the key from the cat and have the old dangling phone from the light. You used the pen to get adornment from closet. So now use the key from the cat to open the closet, get the glue. Use the glue on the earpiece; use earpiece on adornment to get a homemade saw!! where do you use the homemade saw?
use it on the bed! that way you'll get a log. but what do you do with it? You use it on the rope you got from the curtains to get a (word for word) "kick-ass battering ram" =]. use the ram on the dangling phone by the door. click the ram and bam you're out!!
A narrative walkthrough
An anonymous man was arrested earlier today as he was seen leaving Myrtle Auggh's bedroom. He is faced with many charges, including:
Stealing a pen, an alarm clock, an antique phone, and a curtain rope from the bedroom
Mercilessly frightening Mr. Auggh's pet cat with the aforementioned alarm clock and stealing the wardrobe key it was sleeping on
Swiping a decorative piece of metal from the front of Mr. Auggh's wardrobe by using the aforementioned pen as a screwdriver
Raiding the aforementioned wardrobe and stealing a bottle of Super Sticky Glue Extra Deluxe
Fashioning a saw out of the aforementioned glue, the telephone's earpiece, and the metal, and vandalizing Mr. Auggh's bed, obtaining a wooden log
Constructing a battering ram with the aforementioned log, the telephone, and the rope, and hanging it from the light fixture above, doing untold damage to the lightcord
Using the aforementioned battering ram to smash the door, rendering the doorknob useless
When asked for an explanation, the man claimed he "was just doing what was necessary to escape" and "didn't think whoever lived there would be this mad". His trial is pending.
Another great game from Skutnik, and right on the heels of the great Charger Escape!
That said... while I do love the Great Escape series and the Lisa-Frank-inspired games like Charger Escape and Escape Artist, I'm really ready for another adult release from him. I crave another Daymare Town or Submachine! I know they're much more complicated to create, but another installment of either of those excellent series would be worth five of his more family-friendly mini-escape creations.
I feel like we need a dissenting opinion here. I really like escape games for the most part, but this series is just terrible. None of the steps are even remotely logical. It's all just a matter of trial and error and clicking everywhere -- Oh of course, all I needed to do was to use the dynamite with the banana to pulverize it, then spread it on the screwdriver so the monkey would take it through the secret door and....etc etc etc.
And not only that, but the graphics are pretty poor as well. Oh well, but what do you expect.
I love this series of games...I always play them when they're posted. But...I can't help but get frustrated at the solution in this one. I mean, how am I supposed to know that the
telephone should be used on the lightbulb and that the alarm clock had to SIT on the window sill.
Anyways, lots of fun, hope to see the next one.
Sarah, there's another clock on the wall. You have to synchronise your chronometers, as it were.
And make sure you keep making the distinction between Mateusz Skutnik and Pastel Games! Mateusz just did the engine for these; artwork and scenario and stuff is down to the other team members. All credit to them!
Loved the game but I admit i needed help.
You get the clock the phone the fancy rope (from the curtain) the pen.
Pen gives you the piece off the closet
take the phone attach it to the light above
put the clock on the window and set it to 100 and scare the cat and you get a key
use the key on the closet and you get glue
use the glue and the phone and the closet part to make a saw
use the saw on the bed post you get a piece of wood
use the wood with the fancy rope and you get a battering ram
use the battering ram with the phone hanging down and you escape!!
I found out how to beat it! Here's how:
1.get alarm clock
2.get both parts of the phone
3.click first drawer underneath the phone to get the ink pen
4.get the rope from the curtain
5.place the alarm clock on the window ledge and set time to two o'clock (or whatever it is for you, for me it is two o'clock)
6.get key from under the cat
7.use the pen to get the adornment from closet door off and obtain it
8.open closet door with key and get super glue
9.put the super glue on the headpiece part of the phone and you will get a saw(your ardornment will disappear)
10.click anywhere at the top to get to the ceiling and attach the phone base to the light and go back
11.go to the bed and use the saw to saw off a part of the wooden bed board legs
12.attach string to the log and attach that to the phone
13. click the log and you are free!
