Expert diplomat Mr. Snoozleberg has a busy schedule: bullet-train inaugurations, movie awards, alien invasions, theme park visits. He can handle everything, though, as long as he's gets a good night rest... and his sleepwalking makes that difficult. Good think he has you to point and click all the obstacles out of his platforming path! Good Night Mr. Snoozleberg's first chapter was released back in 1999: practically ancient in internet gaming terms. It may be an oldie, but it's definitely a goodie.

EPISODE 1 WALKTHROUGH

Each screen is represented with a single screenshot. The cyan line shows an approximation of Mr. Snoozleberg's ideal path through the screen, and the yellow numbers indicate the objects you have to interact with to keep him on that path, in the order that they'll affect him. It may be beneficial to interact with some objects, especially movable ones, earlier than you need to.

A yellow line from a number to a yellow circle indicates a movable object; the number is its original position, and the circle is where it ought to go. Some objects will have to be clicked more than once, and many will reset shortly after they're clicked, so think about the timing. If an object is clickable but has no number, it's a red herring.

Screen 1: Rooftop Rest
Screen 2: Subway Slumber
Screen 3: Zoo Z's
Screen 4: Construction Catnap
Screen 5: Dump Doze

Interesting game. It can be frustrating searching for the next thing to click (the changing cursor helps, but not much), and the timing can be tight, but I'm enjoying it.

I'll consider writing a walkthrough.

Anyone else here remember Sarbakan's Arcane series? I played it several times when I was younger. It was a great adventure series.

I remember playing this game as a kid. Didn't like it. Mostly because it was so hard. D: So I'm probably not gonna play it now. Though it does bring back fond memories of playing games on the school library's computer.

I still remember the sequences to finish episode one from playing it over and over again a couple of years ago... sure brought back memories.

Is there any compelling reason for the game to have nonfunctional Save and Load buttons? I don't even know that they both don't work, since either one failing would break the functionality, but I don't see any response from either button besides a sound effect. And of course I have to start over from the start of the episode if I fail all ten times, which drives me straight to the walkthrough.

Any chance this game (even being "ancient") could get that fixed?

(One more thing: I took a while with my comment, and the form wrongly said I mistyped my CAPTCHA. Is that fixable either?)

[It's doubtful the save/load will get fixed. And I apologize about the captcha, it's not the best implementation of one but it's the only one I have at this time. My best advice is to create a commenting account so you don't have to deal with that. -Jay]

I'm getting 404 file not found in both IE and Firefox....

[I cannot reproduce this. The game is loading fine for me in all browsers. Please visit this link http://debug.netdna-cdn.com/ and tell me which one of our content delivery network datacenters you are hitting. The problem could be a stuck server. Thanks! -Jay]

It's not loading for me either, I'm also getting the 404 message.

For me it's the NetDNA Amsterdam Datacenter

[Thank you. That helps. I'll have my CDN guys take a look at it right away! We have had issues with the Amsterdam datacenter before! -Jay]

[Yes, there was a problem with the Amsterdam datacenter. Should be fixed now. :) -Jay]

No need to Save. After skipping the intro, right click and from the flash shortcut menu choose the play option. This skips to the next level within each episode.
