Hmmmm... I've played through two-thirds of this and can seem to take more than 2% damage. Guess all my melee units are Baraka.
i think this game is good but it needs a few tweaks obviously
first of all, difficulty is actually depends on you, if you set yourself wrong early in the game, you're most likely have a gruesome play even through out first town. set your survivors right, and you will be enjoying this difficult but do-able zed shooter. hint : find a P.A. ;D
secondly, the dev. team should have thought about the impact their game have on computer performance, sure, on high and capable computer its no problem, but when my friend played it with his mediocre computer, its started to lag when he reach second page of the city, they should have made an option (or disabled it anyway) to wipe away the fallen body of the zed, if they want it there for aesthetic purpose, then at least limit it e.g. after a level is finished the bodies are erased, that way it can be played widely by anyone with any mediocre computer without the lag, its seriously frustrating when you already have a good set up (get lucky early) of weapons and survivor only to find you cant play it further because of the damn lag. that being said, if there was a way to turn of the fallen bodies, then ignore this second part.
third, i loved the way they made me think that there's a way to zoom in (there isnt) its frustrating but at the same time challenging and satisfying killing with just a cross hair as your guide, :D
the rest probably just tweak the useless weapons (uzi... ugh...) it recoil so much even with 1 by 1 shooting its so useless it cant kill the zed, even in close range... how come the first gun is better? thats the 2nd fault i found
other than that, its good, its there, honestly i first thought "derivative of last stand" but after i played it, it is not, it have its own replay value, good job :D
Really like these type of games and this one is no exception. There are some issues indeed, as addressed by Abraham above, but apparently I made the right choices in the beginning and am still enjoying it.
Only additional bug I found is that after finishing part 2 of the town I already got congratulated and
unlimited mode
was unlocked.
Now still enjoying part 3 of the town though.
I am currently having a lot of survivors and equipped myself with
an M9 and a Remington
, which in combination with a PA is a killer combo :)
Swoopy, did you take 40 game days to get to section 3? If you survive 40 days you get a win screen and are asked if you want to continue. Naturally I stuck with it it after this because there were houses to clear.
Also yeah, remington's my baby.
