Laser Puzzle is just what it sounds like: A puzzle with lasers. You've got to redirect the colored beams to the receptors, but instead of freely dropping mirrors around the grid, a series of mirrors and filters on wheels must be turned until the beam finds its way. This clever take on an old chestnut is only five levels long and will leave you craving more, but it's the perfect length for a short coffee break.
In this frenetic physics action title from NSBrotherhood, you play as Lazerman, a fighting robot that has lost everything but his head. But he's going to get it back, even if he has to destroy the entire lab to do it! It's a game of visceral thrills more than strategy, but when brute-force is so fun, who can mind?
Grab your Photonic Laser Blaster, and get ready to bring a little light to the creatures of the dark in Photon Baby, a genre-busting platformer by Jeremias Babini. Drawing inspiration from all manner of genres, Photon Baby is a unique little creation, with influences as far ranging as Laser Physics puzzles and the 16-bit classic "Zombies Ate My Neighbors". Some of the later levels get a little busy with competing inspirations, but overall Photon Baby is perfect for arcade gamers who wish Halloween lasted all year.
If there's one thing I've learned about life, it's that lasers owe allegiance to no man. Sure, lasers might be useful for blasting extraterrestrial invaders, but chances are those same aliens are also armed with human-frying laser weaponry. Lasers are dangerous! Chromatronix, a puzzler from Lyngo Games, is a great example of this: you'll need to practice proper laser safety as you match colored beam-emitting Chromas to their proper Power Cells.
Move your laserspots to light up all your lasercells in Laserworx, a tile-based puzzle game about lasers. The laserbeam between two laserspots will energize any lasercells it touches, but will be nullified if it hits a laserwall. Wait, that doesn't need a "laser" in front of it. They're just regular walls.
Reflections is a classic game of lasers and mirrors (and bombs!). The objective of the game is to position the mirrors and lenses provided such that the laser passes through and illuminates each of the light bulbs. An easy game to pick and get started with, but later levels present increased difficulty and more complex lens types.
