Let it Glow It might be a well-worn concept, the stalwart physics game, but something about Vyacheslav Stepanov's latest puzzle game, Let It Glow, really shines. Get the light bulb to glow by removing blocks and helping power conductors fall on the right spots. Dummy Never Fails This little physics game is awfully familiar, but it's fun and well made. Shoot hapless crash test dummies and hit the target to proceed. Ironically, the biggest flaw is dummy really does never fail; far too many levels can simply be bulldozed through without any finesse, which means you never really feel like you're accomplishing anything or showcasing your superstar skills. Sure, you won't unlock most of the skins, but you didn't need to put your dummy in a cheerleader outfit anyway, right?... right?

Players who've managed to get all the way through can then try to create a level (or levels) of their own, limited only by their imaginations and, of course, the laws of physics. Splitter 2 The basic premise remains unchanged: your charge, a yellow smiley face with eyes eerily glued to your mouse, must make its way to the exit circle in each level one way or another. All you've got are whatever contraptions are lying around the level, your wits, and a cursor that can slice right through solid wood like it was string cheese.

Combine The graphic presentation is fairly simple, but this is a deceptively deep Dr. Mario-style puzzler with a unique color-matching mechanic. Whenever you make a match, you leave behind a ball of a new color, and your job is to work your way up to the top of the rainbow scale. This adds a lot more gameplay dimension than you'd expect, and once you get into it, you will be hooked, trying to make that last couple of levels. Definitely give Combine a chance.
