Letters In Boxes #11

Ah, the magic of the perfect ripple shuffle. You take the top half of the deck (face down, of course) in your left hand, then with a fluid motion, let the bottom card slip out of your left hand, then the right, then the left, continuing until both hands are depleted of cards. Repeat that twice (minding the jokers along the way), and you've got a perfect deck with cards ready for Canfield, Crazy Eights, or Contract Bridge. The process, when done flawlessly, is stunning to watch, and makes you look like a card shark without ever betting a chip.
Being a word shark can win you a prize you can sink your teeth into! (Amazingly, I'm already out of shark jokes.) This week's Letters In Boxes challenge requires you to shuffle around a little bit looking for the answers. Solve all four puzzles, send in your answer, and if you trump the competition, you'll be a winner!
As usual, your first puzzle is located just below. Click on it to open it up in a new window. Solve it, then change the filename in the address bar (in this case, "eleveneleveneleven") to your answer (making sure you use the same directory and extension as before). If you're right, you're pegging your way closer to the prize! If you're not right, you can always discard your answer and try again.
This batch of puzzles contains four puzzles to solve. On the fourth puzzle, you'll find the email address for sending your final answer. We'll hand out a prize to the first correct entry we receive, plus ten additional randomly-selected correct entries. Please include your Casual Gameplay account display name with your entry. You must be at least 13 years of age to enter. Only one submission per participant, please. Offer void where prohibited. Your deadline for submitting your answers is Monday, August 22nd at 11:59 PM (GMT-5:00). Do the cards hold a prize in your future? You've got to play to find out!
Update: Congratulations to these 11 winners! :D
All eleven winners were given a choice of prizes or an entry into a GRAND PRIZE drawing to be held at the end of August! Congratulations and thanks for playing with us! Look for another Letters in Boxes again soon!

Know when to hold 'em, know when to fold 'em! This contest has closed, so here are the answers:
Puzzle 1
Puzzle 1 Answer
The first puzzle was an anagram puzzle, where you needed to unscramble each row to spell the name of a bird. The four birds were RAVEN, ORIOLE, OSTRICH, and FLAMINGO. The first letter of each word spelled ROOF, which is where you'd find the next puzzle (and some birds, though I only just now thought of that connection).
Puzzle 2
Puzzle 2 Answer
The second puzzle required you to swap the indicated rows or columns in order, one at a time. For example, the first move would be to swap the second row in the first box (AGOLE) with the fourth row in the second box (NINIT). After all five swaps were made, the left-hand box spelled out NEVER MIND THIS BOX ITS A WASTE, while the right-hand box spelled out LOOK HERE INSTEAD APOLOGIZED. The solution to this puzzle was APOLOGIZED.
Puzzle 3
Puzzle 3 Answer
To "stack the deck" in this puzzle, you needed to realize that each row of letters was a "card", and that cards aren't always facing the right direction. From top to bottom, you would place the fifth, fourth, first, third, and second rows in a stack, but flipping the INSOZIM row so that it read WIZOSNI instead. Then, reading vertically, you'd find the message YOU WILL FIND PUZZLE FOUR AT SUDDEN DOT GIF.
Puzzle 4
For the final puzzle, you needed to assume that the letters, from left to right, were a deck of cards, such that the cards (when face up) read ETNNPLIOCAME. Then, you were required to "shuffle" the deck as described in the first paragraph of the puzzle's introduction (turn the deck face down, top half in left hand, bottom card from left then right hands, alternating, then repeating the process two more times). When you finished and turned the deck face up once again, you'd find PATIENCELMNO, where PATIENCE was the correct final answer (and LMNO were the jokers to watch out for).
Winners will be announced soon!
