As far as I know for "opening" the bottles, of which are in your inventory. You need the measuring cup. Which I have yet been unable to locate.

Glomer, you don't need to open them.

When you have correct ingredients: glass + ice cube + 30ml white liquor + lemon juice, you can just add yogurt and then grenadine to the glass.

No matter how often I use the

flat implement -mixing spoon--the bamboo won't stay open or let me use them as stilts to reach the top cabinets? How do I keep them open?

Zann - after you open the slats in the bamboo, click on the empty space that is left until a little bit angles to the slat. It will say on screen that you now have stilts, but you have to do it to both pieces.

i came on the last day of may (whuch was yesterday) and the website was plane as usealy; star background and space fight title and then the next day (whuch is the first day of june) i saw the site changed circle backround and nitrome title and more!

What I'd like to see is an actual game from your new logo. All the while I was looking to see if you explained why it changed I kept thinking is this game new? If so where the heck is it?

Nevermind.

Seems I had to restart the game 2 times to get the measuring cup to appear. No joke, it was not there before hand. Possible game glitch? No grenadine either, first two tries.

Cant pick up the flower after finally being able to get the measuring cup and grenadine. Arg!

So, I get from this that if you're having problems in your relationship and you want to remember the good times...just drink more?

Heh, yeah, I'll second ebenclaw. Nice graphics and sound and all, but the message is a bit... weird.

If the only good memories you have of a person are from the time you spent drinking with them, you might have a problem. Or you might not have graduated from university yet. One or the other.

I see no grenadine... same as fuzzboxer, glomer and moop...

I'm on the stilts, and opened all the cupboards above the bar - the walkthroughs say it's in the right-most set of cupboards over the bar, in the left side. But there's nothing there!

I have everything else, and the mixing glass has everything but the grenadine.

If it's a glitch, as moop says, it's a very weird one... I wouldn't code it that way... unless the developer was unlocking the existence of actual objects on triggers (not just unlocking extra regions)... and so if you skipped over the trigger event somehow, then the object wouldn't exist (eg if you did things in a different order, and the trigger was context dependent).

Not a very good advertisement for Shochu, it's enough to drive you to drink!

Coupla things:

Just wondering, was I actually standing on the table at some point to grab that juicer tray?

How did I learn how to use that pair of stilts? It's also quite likely that the character I was playing was also wearing heels at the time, which sort of makes that kinda thing improbable. And how was I able to open shelves and grab objects while balancing on two thin poles?

Other than those two mysteries, I'm perfectly content with the fact that the bartender has developed an overly convoluted way of storing and retrieving his drink mixing supplies. Sort of got used to it from the last time I had to deal with that nutcase's shenanigans from the last time I had to deal with that bar. 'Yall should give that other game a shot. It's got a buncha multiple endings and enough plot holes to make Swiss cheese with.

im having trouble gettinng the cocktail glass ive got the stuff to get it but i click on the cabinett and it opens but i cant grab the cocktail glass help!

The grenadine syrup may be found in one of the Cupboards above the tables, yow. Ffire, there are two cabinetts with glasses,try the other one.

in the far left cupboard pair, above the bar (not above the tables, Lechloan), on the right of that pair.
But I'm positive I looked in all the cupboards last time (the 3 pairs above bar, 4 pairs above tables), and it wasn't anywhere...

Beautiful looking game, and impressive music (wish the loop was a bit longer though).

finding the key. I already put the lantern on the lower hook and went to the table left of it. But clicking almost everywhere on the partition has no result ... no key! Anyone who can help me? Thanks a lot!!

This was a nice game although there are 2 errors with w_nightshade's walkthrough :

1 - The measuring cup is placed randomly on 1 of the 3 tables.

2 - The grenadine is also placed randomly in 1 of the upper cabinets.

Pink flower from external site? Help?

To the Anonymous person -

You open the tutorial book which will show you a picture of a flower. This flower is situated in the game, to the right of the tables and left of the bar. You can now pick it up as an item. Ignore the pop-up site, unless you want to browse through it but it has no significance to the game

I think the moral of the story is very touching and inspiring:

All of our romantic and relational issues can be solved with alcohol!

<3 I loved the music! I also love these games because making the drink is fun. >_< Sweet ending. I liked how the drink came out pink. ;)

Finally I beat it. I don't think i'm cut out for point and click games. They are unecessarily difficult to me.

The grenade is in the armory. But you've got to defeat the Tank Boss first. Make sure you've picked up the Assault Rifle.

Walkthrough

1)Lemon squeezer on round boss above middle table
2)Unlock handle in left panel of cupboard.
3)Solve puzzle in cupboard above to get bottle of spirits
4)Get flower from vase on cupboard.
5)Measuring cup next to cup on right hand most table
6)Get bamboo from screen to the left of left table.
7)Go to left chair of right table and click up. Click on Lantern to hang on lower peg.
8)Go to table to the left and click on right hand chair, reveals a key shadowed by the lamp.
9)Get behind bar through flap on the right of bar
10)Yogurt and lemon in fridge in first cupboard under bar.
11)Go right to end behind bar. Lift flap in floor and turn valve.
12)Use key on freezer in last cupboard to get ice.
13)Click to the left of the large vase by the door.
14)Click on the tap to turn water on. Wait till vase fills and get barspoon.
15)Squeeze Lemon in the lemon squeezer thing.
16)Groove in bottom of bamboo, Use barspoon.
17)Do both to get stilts.
(Double Click Inside grove After Opened)
18)Click on stilts then on cupboards above table.
19)Cocktail glass is in left hand cupboard above left hand table On right hand side of cabinet cupboard thing.
20)Grenadine syrup in right most cupboard above bar.
21)Put Ice in mixing cup. And then Shochu. Use the smal side of the measuring cup twice for Shochu, once for lemon juice.
22)Add all yogurt
23)And All Grenadine,
24)Mix using barspoon.
25)Put in flute glass you took from cabinet above tables.
26) You make a cocktail .. game over yay you.
wasnt that just cheesy and boring?

I absolutely love this game. I've played it about 5 times so far. I dislike most games in that 'get out of the room' style, but after I figured out how to do it I was hooked.
The music mixed with the gorgeous atmosphere is amazing.
Speaking of the music, anyone know who it's by?

To those who can't find the measuring cup:

It is randomly placed on one of the three tables, so you need to click on each table and examine the plates and cups. The measuring cup is a silver hour glass looking thing next to one of the white cups.

Click on the mixing cup to examine it. Then only click once on the ice. Make sure that you're still examining the mixing cup, and then once you've clicked on the ice click on the mixing cup again..

Make sense?

Help, I can't find the lemon squeezer

hi everyone
i can`t seem 2 get the lemon juice and the grenadine in the mixing glass. i think it might be a glitch or something like that. can someone help PLEEZ?? i`v been at it for a while and im getting frustrated!

I found it absolutly hilarious that

the youghrt and lemon were in the fridge where anyone could get them, but the ICE was under lock and key! Maybe there is an ice shortage in Japan.

i cant seem to wash the bamboo! everytime i click on the fountain it just says that there's a big shiny slab of marble and the traditional vase thing!

Please help! I can't find the

grenadine stuff anywhere! I've checked all of the shelves but it isn't anywhere!!!It is on the shelves isn't it.....

i cant get the bamboo near the vase, have tried all kinds of zooming and clicked on each one but nothing happens. it still says 'there's something...etc.'

ok i got the bamboo. i was actually trying to get one of the bamboos near the vase. but it is the actual partition that comes loose

i want to get the bamboo but can't get the partition to get loose?

uh guess you have to wash the bamboos first before making it into stilts.

Yeah, I suspect there's a glitch. I've checked all upper cabinets & no Grenadine to be found. alas.

About the grenadine:

Check those cabinets on top of the seats.

Remember to click on the handles when opening them and you can only open one door at a time.

"Back up and move one table to the left. Click on the right seat and look behind it. Click the shadow on the partition to get the key." WHERE? On left, center or right table????

you may have to try clicking around the chair a few times -- the chair will move aside, and then you'll see the shadow of the key very clearly. (Sorry I can't remember exactly where I clicked to make the chair move.)

Click on the table to zoom in, then click on the left side of the table to face the left, then click towards the top of the screen. Click the lantern, and it moves down.

If you're old enough, "Sweet Memories" isn't bad. I had to substitute vodka and because my yogurt's a bit thicker it was more like a smoothie than a drink, but not bad.

Bamboos with built in slats for stilts hidden in a bamboo pot at a bar? I wouldn't have imagined in a thousand years. Not very realistic at all and at odds with the atmosphere the game's trying to convey.

Before mixing the cocktail, put the flower in the small vase placed on the bar. Now you can mix "Sweet Memories"

i have the stilts but when i look in the upper cabinets, there's nothing! no glasses, no grenadine... i can't figure it out.

ok, i was only looking in the cabinets over the bar. i didn't realize there were more. so i got the grenadine, but i can't seem to pick up a glass...

Cute little game. Very nice for Valentine's Day. Not too difficult but a fun story.

the reason why some might not be able to get a flower of mix the drink.
to pick up the flower

you have to first open the book and click on the link. only then will you be able to take the flower from the vase.

you have to place the flower in the blue vase and watch the clip. mixing the drink has to be in order. first is the ice, then 15ml of liquor twice, then the 15ml lemon, then the the yogurt, then grenadine.

No matter how hard i tried, i can not get the key. I've got almost every thing but no key no ice then!

For those having trouble finding the grenadine:

It is place randomly in any of the cabinets above either the bar or the tables. Use the stilts and you'll eventually find it.
