Halloween Hangman is, well, a Halloween-themed game of hangman! This free flash game is about as simple as they come. And thanks to a smart-mouthed skeleton and some wacky music, it just happens to be a nice diversion for some pre-Halloween entertainment. Presented by Dimension's Edge.
In case you're new to hangman, here's the general idea. A series of blanks line the top of the screen representing a word or phrase. By clicking on the alphabet tiles you can guess letters and fill in the blanks. Select a letter that isn't in the phrase and part of the skeleton appears on the screen dangling from a rope. You also get a snide comment from the cheeky bag of bones. Make too many bad guesses and the skeleton falls, which is apparently the part he hates most.
Your score is tallied across games, so if you do really well you get to enter your initials for the global high score board. Lose once and you have to start over. So, you know, don't lose. It's a short, simple and cute Halloween-themed game that even the kids will get a kick out of. Click.

Yes, a very fun little diversion. The page doesn't seem to reload at the end though, and you can't post your score.

A nice, humorous touch for a game like this. Though it is a slight bit easier since it's themed. The talking skeleton keeps me coming back for more.

If you're bad at point'n'click games (like I am), you might enjoy going to the Dimension's Edge website and playing their Garfield Scavenger Hunt game. It's comparatively easy and obvious, has some neat sub-games and you get (virtual) donuts. (That game is suitable for the kiddies, too.)

Just hopped over to play hangman for a bit, and found the site changed to "valentine hangman." Same smart-alec skeleton, but a few different phrases (valentine-based, of course). And he's holding a pink valentine, and standing in a flurry of pink and white hearts. New words as well.
Just FYI.

Heh, I've just been going through the archives and spotted this today. It seems to update pretty often. It's already changed to Summertime Hangman.
