beat it in under 20 minutes(without spoilers) which is very short for a point and click game. i really enjoyed this game, it was very user friendly as opposed to some of the point and click games where you cant see certain items unless you get on some weird angle. hopefully the production company(pod digital) will make more games of this variety.

i cant find the power cable or magnet

I am trying to play but it says I need the latest flash player. Well whenever I go to download it, it instantly says I have it. So why can't I play it?

Woohoo. I beat it without any help. My time was 24:39. Not the best time in the world, but hey... No help. Oh yeah!

As far as filling in the top middle spot, that's for the phone, which I found the first time that I tried to play. The phone just tells you

that some items can be used more than once

Finished, But my time was not good - 50 min. I tried to see the trailer twice and it took so long to download that I would leave it, but in the meantime my time was counting down. Recommend that you avoid the trailer until you have finished the game or it spoils your time.

Wow, first time I ever finished a point & click without help.. and in 15 minutes too..

I like that in this game, most things make sense. No illogical combinations like you see in some.

There are a few bugs here.
One is that the remote car always fails to get the key, and another is that almost everytime you play the game, either the phone or the remote control cannot be found.
This only seems to occur by chance when you first open the game.

The remote controlled car found the key for me when I played.

If you use the magnet to scramble the camera, you must reattach it to the car before you can pick stuff up with it.

Hi to Jay and all of your contributing community. I must be an idiot, but I've started this one over a number of times and no matter what I do, I've never found the power cord. Some stuff is always in the same place (keys, number pad, wallet, paper scraps) others pop up in different spots, but am i missing one entirely? I look in the desk drawers, the cabinet by the TV monitor, under the pillows and book on the couchside table. I never find a power cord. What am I missing. It's driving me nuts for what otherwise was a very straight forward experience. Thanks in advance,

ahhhhhhhhhhhhh.....thank you, thank you for the personal attention. I can tell you knew my frustration. Now I can go back to work which is what I was avoiding by checking out the latest posts on your extensive site.
By the way, although I love Tonypa's games, I guess he's just too young to remember Joust and Robotron and the plink of quarters from the allowance going into afterschool enjoyment.

right i cant remember what goes where but what i can tell you is that there is something in the flower pot, in the bottom drawer of where the t.v stands, on the coffee table (if you move the paper around), under the sofa, in nearly every draw of the desk, uuuum, check under every pillow and in the vase and in the bin uuuuuuum that is all i can remember :p sry !! cya xx

It's a keypad which you need to place somewhere else...

I enjoyed this one - I usually have to resort to spoilers (thankyouthankyouthankyou jayis contributors!) when playing games of the pointy-clicky type, but this had just enough difficulty to keep me interested, without anything so annoying or frustrating as a 1 or 2 pixel sized trigger.

Logical and fun. It definitely makes me hope for more (longer) adventures from the developers.

Simple enough, I'm going to give all you trouble-maker's out there bothering old Jay here while he's working a complete spoiler. Ready?

Ok, first of all, follow my lead here.As soon as you start, click and hold the trash can to get paper scraps. Then click examine and put them together to form a code. Now put that aside. Click to move right and click and move the book on the table. You should get it. Now just go right again and click and hold on the pillow on the couch. You should get a remote. Now click on the corner of the coffee table. Move everything around on the table that's clickable and you should get a wallet. Examine and move the wallet around to get the ID card inside. Place that aside again. Get back to the couch and go right. The right again. Click and hold on the vase. You should get a "shiny key". Now go back to the computer desk. Use the "shiny key" on the desk and then look in EVERY SINGLE drawer. You should get a radio, a car, and a magnet. Examine and turn the radio to get a battery. Now use the combine feature. Combine the battery and the car. Now combine the battery-powered car and the magnet to get...a car with a magnet, I guess. Now go to back to the couch and place the car there. now use the remote on it. The car should go under the couch, and come back with an old key. Go to the old wooden chest area now and use the old key there. Open the chest and get a keypad faceplate. Zoom out and then go right once to the vase and look carefully in the upper left-hand corner. You should see a camera. Click on it. Now use your magnet on it. It should block the signal. Now go to the TV and carefully click on the VERY bottom drawer. You should get a power cable. Now go in front of the labtop (I mean DIRECTLY in front of it.) and use the cable. Now go in front of it more. Use the name on the wallet you got for the username and the code you got from the paper scraps. Now do the following things: crack the security power and then play (and win) the game. Get and remember the code from the game and make sure the power is checked green. Now exit from the labtop and go right in front of the door. Use the touchpad there and then type in the code from the game. Congrats, you just won.

i can't get out! i've found all of the items and done everything in that walkthrough, but it still wont let me near the door.

Ok, look, I just found a flaw. Everything is random for each game. So, if you can't find anything in my walkthrough. Search another place. (Another pillow, that glass cabinet by the TV, drawers, vases, anything!) I followed my own walkthrough the first time I wrote it and got out but now it isn't working for me either. Also, make sure you click, drag, and HOLD things while moving them. If there is something to be achieved, you will get it in about 2 seconds. Sorry guys! And thanks Jay! Solved with advice from above. I've listed a couple of issues (that didn't seem at all obvious to me) in case there are others stuck in a similar manner:

1) For some reason,

the remote control didn't appear in my inventory - even though I'd clicked on every available cupboard and drawer. I think that this may be a bug in the game.

click in close to the coffee table. It took a very long time to find out that the only way you can zoom in is by clicking on it's right hand corner (from the screen with the door/exit.) Unfortunately I'd started by trying to click the coffee table from the same screen as the book, but after a minute or so found that there was nothing there and I couldn't get any closer. I then gave up - thinking that it must just be a part of the scenery. At that point it didn't make sense to try to click (the empty corner of) the coffee table again (from the next screen.) So I was stuck forever without the wallet.

the camera up above the pot plant. I thought the picture on the TV screen was a reflection of the door/exit. It wasn't until I read this forum that I was aware that there was a need to find a camera at all.

Apart from these three (rather obscure) issues I thought that the game was neat and polished.

its a fun game but you have to click the very right places to see what's there and advance in the game, for example you have to click only the table corner to see what there is and nothing happens if you click anywhere else on the table.

I liked this one! About 10 minutes into the game, I accidentally hit the back button and reset it. So I tried to re-do everything I had already done, but couldn't find the remote or phone anymore! I finally realized that their location was randomized, but it took a while to find them. So if you're having the same trouble,

try the cabinet, all drawers, behind the pillows, every possible book on the shelves above the t.v., and the planter that holds the tree.

i cant get near the door!!!!! i have got the password ive got everything but the phone ive click every inch of the room! i cant click on the big plant pot mind all it says is that the plant needs light and that it hasnt bn watered in a while

where so far has the phone bn found? perhaps they change but there are only a few places it gets put? just an idea its buggin me now that i cant get to the door

yea.....uh well i'm pretty sure that..........ooohhhh, if u don't want the whole puzzle answer don't read.........if u just get the cord under the TV in a drawer, u can get on the comp. and type the name from the ID and the number from the paper then get the number pad........youre done!

I did it! haha finished in 34 minutes... not bad... i kept cliking and then i found the camera behind the plant...

GAH! This game is pretty easy, and I like the re-randomization of the item locations, but I was frustrated by

that damn ID card/wallet! I knew it was around somewhere, but didn't realise that the magazines on the coffee table had to be DRAGGED around! That was the only thing like it on the game, and it took me looking on here to find out that last crucial element.
Also, keep in mind that the computer password changes for every new use, so don't pay any mind to people here telling you what it is!

Out of boredom I was playing the game on the laptop. ;) try completeing the whole thing, when you have the keypad.

WALKTHROUGH:

get code from bin, get username from wallet (card), get power cord from couch, use power cord on computer, use username and code on computer to get an Escape Code, search plant pot for remote, search cushions for mobile, search vase for key, use key to open desk drawers (left and right side), get car, magnet and radio, examine radio for battery, combine battery with car, combine magnet with car, face the door and use car to put on floor, use remote to get old key under couch, use old key to open the box and get keypad, use magnet on camera (facing the door in the corner of room), go back to door and use keypad, use pad to type in Escape Code. YOUR OUT!!

So easy game 10 min. or 15. min without help

for those who are having trouble finding ther camera (you need to befopre you can approach the door)

the camera is on the same section of screen as the vase and plant, just outside the field of clear vision. Look for the fuzzy rectangle in the upper left of the screen

In all fairness they made it easy to use items and combine them etc. but i feel that the colour and certain hidding issues were a bit mush and good game all the same and it prevented me from getting bored for around 15-20 mins.

click on the soil of plant to get remote note: u must be on the view of the little locked box and painting
use car next to the escape door then use remote straight after
click on the carpet where the car drove past to get key
use key on little locked box to get keypad
go to the security camera note: it is located in the corner on the view wer the case is
click on the camera and use magnet on it
go and click on the door then use keypad
type in escape code u retrieved from computer

Why do people think that playing a game where a "quest" is to find a power cord has something to do with adventure?

I believe the link is broken. At least it is for me (using latest Firefox, don't know the version number).
