Flea World

Flea WorldLately I have been enjoying this cute little platformer with a twist. Generally, a platform game puts the player in control of a game character that is moved throughout each level toward a goal at the end. The term 'platform' comes from the many varied platforms that the player must run, climb, and jump over to make it to the end of each level.

Flea World is a horse of a different color. Although still a platform game, Flea World puts you in control of an increasing number of fleas, all of which you must safely get to the end of each level to move on to the next.

Control is with the mouse, as the fleas with follow where you move the mouse cursor. Click the mouse button to make the fleas jump. Using these controls, move about each level to collecting flowers and coins for points. You will also need to trip switches to open doors, and land on various other devices to help you reach the end of the increasingly more difficult levels.

The game's pixel graphics are simple and yet get the job done nicely. I did notice a small problem on my Mac Powerbook with the dialogs that appear between levels, as the text is missing that explains new items being introduced in the level. This did not present a significant problem however, since most of the items and levels are self-explanatory. The game may appear different on a PC.

Another excellent game hosted by Miniclip, this Shockwave game was created by Numbat Studios and is a delightful adventure filled with puzzles and platforms to while away the hours. Click.

oO... this is surprisingly amusing... which goes to show how simple minded I am... truly fun game there jay!

this is a really neat game, but some levels seem quite hard, particularly the ones with the fans. is there something i'm missing? or am i just not very good at it?

i think the control of a whole bunch of fleas is a really neat idea, because you have to coordinate them as a group, not just as a single person jumping around.

Flea World is a fun game that got on my nerves lol. I love the idea of the teamwork with the fleas thing. It was refreshing to play a game that's different from the others. Thanks for showing me this game, Jay.

ah miniclip. i used to love to go there. then i found this cool site called jay is- and well, the rest is history. = )

I also think its quite fun game, but the difficulty of levels builds up too fast and with the fans you basically lose control and it becomes luck-based.

:") These fleas are my heros!

Hi nice game .
The fans are not luck based you will eventually figure them out :)

The effective power of the fans are toggled with the mouse click... one must get the little boogers in a rhythm of sorts to get the desired altitude in the desired direction. Another hint: some horizontal moving platforms are decoys; the actual surface for bouncing is invisible and stationary. Now that that's out of the way...
HOW DO YOU BEAT LEVEL 23?!?
It has a new object that looks like two pieces of a puzzle that seem to need to be connected. Yet I can find no result of this action and am stuck without a way to hit the fan to reach the high button.

WOOT! WOOT! They fixed level 23.

This reminds me of an older game called Flea Circus. It was different, though. you didn't control the fleas, you had to build a path to get them to the goal.

Cool game I like it the cannons r ROCKING! anyway it's a bit hard to control fleas with mouse I give it a 7/10.

:,)

jay the link is broken or somthing it just shows a white screen please fix it or something !!!! i really want to plzay it and it really annoying

All fixed Goirgio. Thanks for the alert about the link. =)

I love this game.

The fans and the platforms are hard though.
