Net Disaster

Net DisasterNet Disaster lets you take your anger out on your favorite—or not so favorite—website. Just enter any URL and select whether you want to drop bombs, send aliens from Mars, bring back the dinosaurs, cast a flood, fry eggs, or spill coffee on it. Then choose the disaster options. You can choose to have NetDisaster automatically destroy the page, or use the mouse for more precise targeting control. If you have a slower computer make sure you select auto-repair, which will remove graphic debris after a short time freeing your CPU for smoother destruction. Click.

Although not a game, Net Disaster is a fun Web-toy to play with. You can even use it to take your frustrations out on that website of yours that's giving you trouble. Created by Denis Rionnet of France. Via Ron Gilbert's Grumpy Gamer blog.

You should do a automatic redirection to the destuction page instead of having it in the link. (just for today of course). Then have the link bring you back to the real page.

That's an excellent idea, Zengief, one that I'd really love to implement. Problem is, I'd probably have to store a cookie and use that to redirect those whose cookie is not set. If I had given this more thought, it might have made an excellent April fool's joke. Ah well, maybe next year. =)

Thanks for the suggestion.

It's like a dream come true. = D
Excellent find.

The alternate text for the image is set to "Net Distaster" :D

Cool link jay, gonna use this a bunch

this game is the best and kees getting upgraded
the latest upgrade is text sucker

There was a game like that 8 years ago more or less, it was an add-on for IE I think, where you had a target and you threw stuff at pages. You had a basic set of "weapons" (anything from food to dirty stuff)... and then you could buy Weapon Packs by credit card and have extra stuff to throw. I think it was called Web Splat, or Net Splat... or something like that.
I think this version lacks more user control, but it's fun anyway =D.

Net Disaster was teriffic, but it looks like it's gone. Does anyone know if it still exists?

Links are working again. Cheers for the heads-up about it, Sheldon!

Nice "game", only problem is that you can't scroll down.
suggestion:
Play a movie and shoot the characters!

I nuked Addictinggames.com
No more competition, Jay? :P

net disaster would be perfect for me if it can be used in a live chat page. Because sometimes i want to spoil my pals pc when they angered me.

i nuked the cartoon site stupid cartoons

oh the irony addictinggames has stolen the net disater game how dare they everyone must destroy addictinggames with their favorite destruction method...oh darn i use 2 many big words again, sorry =D

my favorite thing is the text sucker

Chainsaw anybody

God this is corny...

I sent a fleet of nucular bombs to the Amazing Island Wiki. That's what it deserves for claiming to be a wiki and being nothing but a short review!

NEW Led Zeppplein it you aim it like nuke and when it lands it creates a massive hole.
Try IT OUT

Yahoo closed this game down because they thought that one of the disasters actually damaged their site. Go figure.

I'll destroy Zobocom where unattainable is unknown.

it says it's kidsafe, but whats up with the bloodygun?

The site has been taken down about a month ago. Aparently there was so much fuss it wasn't worth the effort of keeping it online anymore.

Bring back net disaster
