PsychoPong

PsychoPong is not new, as it dates back to 2001; yet it is a worthy game just the same. With gameplay similar to Pong, the granddaddy of all video games, this Shockwave game has a mind of its own. There are five (5) levels of increasing difficulty... though I bet you'll have trouble making it past even the second level. Click.

The designer of the game, Andreas from Switzerland, has an amazing site full of Shockwave experiments worth checking out. The 'P'rojects navigation menu of his site is worth the visit alone. Click.

I wish there were codes for the levels - I hate having to get past level two again and again, it's so frustrating.

O_________O" This game is hard... its harder than playing against the computer..

As entertaining as Battlefront....level 3 is the best

Are we all playing the same game here? I have found it extremely easy, I basically passed every level on the first or the second try. Once you get a feel how the paddles work it's a cakewalk.

Btw if level 2 frustrates you I would suggest not even trying higher levels. Having the direction of the paddles reversed is just the beginning of your troubles.

Other than my view being ever-so-slightly to the left (so I never see what the right-hand paddle is doing until it grows), I really enjoyed this until level 4, where I couldn't work out what the other paddle could be doing, and when I occasionally got it by accident, I didn't have long to analyse its (random?) behaviour! Good fun though!

Phew! With a bit of jiggery-pokery, and strangeness, I completed it. Didn't take too many tries either (once I could see the right-hand paddle!)
