Lately, I've been wanting to play a game, called Mastermind, that I used to play a lot when I was in high school, but couldn't find a decent version of it anywhere online. The versions I did find were either buggy or weren't much to look at. So I made a better one.
The object of the game, as you may already know, is to try to figure out the secret code based on postion clues given each time you make a guess. A color you select could be in the correct position as the secret code, it could be in the wrong position, or it might not be in the code at all. Secret codes may be made up of duplicate colors, so it's not as easy as it looks. I hope you have as much fun with it as I have.
You're so smart Jay. I used to watch my siblings play this game when I was like 9. And the little pocket version is so cute!

I would love for you to show me a thing or two with Flash, as I have been trying to learn the environment for some time now. I've dabbled in it a few times and have come up with fairly cool, yet simple, things... but what you do with it is magical. Cheers to you, Robert. =)

I dont get what the numbers mean
Jenn - the numbers in the column with the check mark tell you how many colors you have correct AND in the correct position.
The numbers in the column with the "no check mark" symbol tells you how many colors you have correct but in the wrong position.
That is a nice game, but I think it could be improved quite nicely by adding extra difficulty settings. It'd be nice for a change if I could take a slight break with a few less colors or challenge myself with another space or color.

Hey Jay, I'm new to the site, and let me tell you I LOVE IT. I added mastermind to my favorites, but when I click on it, it says page,URL not found. But when I search the site and find the main page, I can play it. What gives? Oh yeah if I haven't said it already, LOVE THE SITE. Thanx, Matt
