JoyeVehiclesWiu wiu! Stop in the name of law! Not very commanding, is it? Well, the stars of this physics puzzle game, Vehicles, created by Dmitriy Fyudorov and Dmitriy Zaletov, are more like the squishable cartoon cars of the law than the long arm of same, so maybe that's appropriate. Good thing, too, or else you'd never dare to send them sailing in adorable bug-eyed terror.

Your goal for each level is to remove all the "evil" cars from the play area. Using the mouse, click to start and to stop all the "good" cars, from the small police car to the large firetruck. You can also remove black and white striped blocks with a click, and red and white striped blocks by moving a good car onto the red button. For a bonus, try to get as many cars as you can into the glowing "parking" areas.

Not only is there a nice variety and a good build-up in difficulty from the first level to the thirty-fifth, but the cuteness and the good humor really shines, sometimes in some unexpected ways. Read the text at the end of level 12, and then play the next level for a good laugh.

Physics puzzle fans are always looking for the next hit, and if you've already beaten all 80 levels of Cover Orange Players Pack, Vehicles will wiu wiu that same sweet spot.

Something tells me my pc REALLY doesn't like this game...I get a load of crashing car sounds, flashing black and white, and the menu flashing on and off >.<

Why are all the cars top heavy?

Anyone know how to beat Level 35? (I'd look at the walkthrough, except it requires me to accept some kind of Facebook app crap)

ok, how do you beat level 35? I know there is a walkthrough button in game, but I don't have, nor want, a facebook account that is necessary to see it.

Embarrassingly enough, it took me four tries just to get past the first tutorial level. It's really nifty that the physics simulator includes stopping distance, which is dependent on how fast the vehicle is going when you try to stop it. The ability to drive the cars makes this a nice standout from other physics puzzles where the only motion you get is from gravity and momentum.

The little anthropomorphized cars are utterly charming. And I like the progression of difficulty in the levels. I'm at 15 now, but need to stop and get back to work.

Got level 35. It takes a bit of luck and a lot of good timing.

Drop the crate out of the way first (without driving the car off with it).

have the bad car push the tire into the pit, at the same time have the police car get smooshed between it and the wall.

If done right, the ambulance up top can then drop down, bounce off the tire, and hit the button.

If the police car is in the right spot, you'll get the parking bonus. It took me three tries.

Reply

Level 35 solution:

Start with the police car. Gun him and then stop, you want to have him fall in the little hole upside down.

Next, gun the bad car to push the wheel forward (stop before you leave the red area!). Now the wheel is on top of the cop car.

Start the cop car and wait. He'll start spinning the big wheel pretty fast. When the wheel's moving pretty quickly, use the ambulance to push the box on the wheel, that'll throw it into the switch.

Once that's done, all you need to do is park the ambulance on top of the wheel to get the parking bonus. Hooray!

This is a lovely little game. The personalities of the cars (the aggressive police car, the ambulance with his "wiu" comments) make you feel like it's an adventure rather than an assortment of individual puzzles. A little more proofreading would have gone a long way.

Why would you make me sign in to Facebook just to view your walkthrough? Why would you assume that EVERYONE has a Facebook account?

Wrong. So now I'm done playing. A C+ or B- physics game, I'd say. Except for the ambulance's speech impediment. That was at least mildly amusing.

How do you unlock the Mega Levels? ..Or is 21-25 the Mega Levels? I have a star on everything. A little confusing. I did enjoy this one though.

I really dislike physics games that don't have stable physics. When you start with the same car five times on a level and get five very different results, that's just bad physics.

It's really annoying when I have to click on the vehicle several times to get it to stop or go... but I gave it an extra mushroom just for level 13.

I finished level 35 with the parking bonus with both skandar's and SirNiko's methods (both after about 20 tries.. my timing sucks and my crappy lappy's jerky flash performance doesn't help).

I am so pleased to see so much hostility towards facebook here. I thought I was the only one! Brothers and sisters...I AM HOME!

No, that's... ah... that's chaos theory.

Why can't I access levels 26-35? I have stars on all 25 levels to that point? I like this game, so I wanted to play the last few. Guess I don't get to. :`(

Dr. Ian is correct.
Though that is incredibly off-topic.

I'm up to level 24 so far. The later levels are difficult - not intentionally, but because the physics in this game is kinda sucky.

@JIGuest: Funflow itself hosts all its games originally on Facebook, so that's why the walkthroughs are on Facebook. Playing Funflow games on Facebook rather than the version hosted on JiG is essentially the same, but they have 3 "badges" for each game (one for beating the first or second level, one for beating some moderate number of levels, and one for beating the game). That, and the walkthroughs. Not really worth it, as far as I can tell.

For those wondering about unlocking the levels:
To unlock 21-25 ("Mega Levels"), get gold stars on 1-20. Only #21 will be unlocked, initially.
To unlock 26-35, click where it says "Sponsor Levels" - this takes you to the Sponsor's website and unlocks #26.

FYI: It doesn't appear that you get anything for beating the "Reskinned" levels after beating the game the first time.

Thanks to Iskandar and SirNiko for level 35. Both methods worked but SirNiko's worked the first time and got me the star.

Beat the game, occasionally consulting the video walkthrough. Some I had to repeat levels multiple times just because the physics did not work all that well.

I don't get why you have to start from the beginning if you choose the "reskinned" option. The only thing that's different is, well, the skins on the vehicles.

Alright game, but the physics don't work as they should. Irritatingly repetitive music.

Although my wife is a major Facebook fan, sometimes I feel like their induction methods can be as off-putting as a grungy windowless van with with a hand painted sign on it that reads "FREE CANDY".

The game is inventive; notice the expressions on the police car when your cursor on it. I can almost hear the car stand to attention.

I can't recommend the reskinned replay highly enough. I mean. the firetruck had a cigarette! I laughed so hard I started the cat!

here is how to beat level 35 so you dont have to sign into facebook or whatever is going on.the last level was quite hard but here is the walkthrough, first knock the box down off the ledge, dont let the ambulance fall, then roll the wheel into the hole, while the wheel is rolling start the police car so it gets wedged between the wheel and the wall then drive the abulance and there you have it

I'm not a regular visitor here. In fact this is the first time I've ever found this site. I like this game but I am stuck on level 20. Does anybody have any helpful hints?

Reply

X - For level 8

1. Use the big red truck to push the ambulance to the right, onto the striped area.
2. Remove that striped area so the ambulance falls to the level below.
3. Carefully move the ambulance to the left and nudge the pole so that it falls.
4. As the tire is rolling down the ramp release the police car by clicking the striped area under it and click it to start it. The tire will push the bad guy off the road, and you need to stop your police car while it's in the green parking area.

How do you pass level 9 with a gold star?

Reply

Here is how to do level 32 and get the stars. I felt so so stupid when I finally figured it out, lol.

On the top platform there is a crate and a blue car. Drive the police car off the grey platform and pop it when the car is above the end of the platform.

The arrow sign will flip him, let him drive off the platform and into the wall, facing the crate.

With the blue car on the bottom make him drive, and just let him switch back and forth.

Back at the top, push the crate onto the second gray platform, and the car on the first from left to right. When the car switches and starts driving to the left, drop the crate. The crate will be pushed near the end.

Keep the police car going until there is a spot open enough for you to drop the police car at the top to the bottom, in between the crate and the arrow sign, without making it flip or anything.

The police car still going, it will push the crate and the car, but stop with the crate falls off and hits the button. Stop the driving car when it is on the parking spot.

Yay!

Finally created an account here. Many thanks to you folks for helps with several games. Right, for Level 20...

First drive the top ambulance to the right. Immediately stop on the blue platform. Drop the box. Click on the left stripe bar. Use the top ambulance to gently nudge it just enough for the box to fall through the small red square. Just as the bad car falls, use bottom ambulance to drive/bump the bad car out of sight. Make sure to stop it before it runs off screen, and getting the top ambulance down before "checking" completes will get you the 2 gold stars.

And yes, they ARE definitely cool!"
