Paul had been playing the whole afternoon with his friend when they took the shortcut home. Then a really bad man grabbed them and took them away. He made them wear stripped shirts and took them to a strange place with other kids dressed like them.
During a turbulent day there were weird noises and then they moved Paul to a new place...other kids were all set free, all but one. Now it's time for Paul to try to escape the horrors of the Museum - it's time for the latest Forgotten Hill Tale by FM Studios!
The Museum, where is Paul imprisoned, is dedicated to the glories of Ancient Egypt and you can admire here a rich collection of original finds, including papyri, statues and parts of a mysterious mummy. It is guarded by professor Fadil Salah and to get around him is impossible...unless you discover a way how to get rid of him. Paul himself can hardly overpower him by force but if you help him to solve many puzzles and discover mysteries of exhibits on display, you would set in motion hidden forces.
Despite the game's introduction and the horror atmosphere, you don't openly face to any danger, nor you are a witness to frightening scenes. Only here and there you can see - especially when you use one item - disturbing traces of past violence. In the Museum had surely happened horrible crimes, but you are here to solve puzzles.
The latest FM Studios' dark adventure is again strongly atmospheric and has an awesome art style, and holds much content. Some puzzles are rather hard and it's not enough to do them once - several times you need to solve three of four in a row to get through. Yes there are slididing puzzles, too. Overall it's an excellent game which will entertain you for a long time. Enjoy!
The game is controlled by a mouse and has autosave.

Wow great game! A little trouble with a puzzle towards the end but still loved it.
Very enjoyable game, but I did not care for either of the puzzles in the side-by-side sarcophagi - a slider, and a ball puzzle with wonky controls. Almost quit, but I frustratingly pushed through the ball puzzle, and I found a walkthrough for the slider. I do like the game length and the atmosphere, and the rest of the puzzles.
(Does a joyful little dance at seeing a new Forgotten Hill game…)
Not bad, but I agree that the game-type puzzles are not welcome. Doing the ball maze is extremely difficult with a mouse, and I imagine it will be outright impossible for people with certain disabilities—that's never cool. And I don't particularly care for getting kicked back to zero every time you lose a round on the chess puzzle.
But the atmosphere was as awesome as ever! Really enjoy games with the tone that these and the Rusty Lake games have. And I loved the Eye of Ra—what game have I seen something like that in before?
Thanks for the heads up regarding the "types" of puzzles in this game. I knew that I would be unable to play this game. I found a video walk through and watched that.
I do have a disability that makes it impossible to play several of those puzzles. It really helps to know this information up front. :)
