Using a dinghy to cross the ocean can be filled with danger. Before you know it, something will puncture your dinghy and you end up on an island with fighting crabs and monkeys, where you have to collect coconuts to trade for bones and material to fix that dinghy again.
This might sound weird, but this is actually the plot of Rubber Dinghy, a short pixely adventure game where you have to collect and trade objects for others so you can repair your dinghy and head back home. The pixel-design looks solid, the tropical music will bring you to the caribbean and the humor in this game will make you laugh. The puzzles aren't that hard, and if you fail once, the game is made so you will succeed the next time. What are you waiting for? Start collecting wood, stone and coconuts so you can head back home!
The art style was simple but cute and the humor, while some language, was so random and quirky with some clever puns for good measure. A nice, quick little game!
Very (very very) short game, but funny nonetheless.
Most of the game involves comic dialogues with weird situations, the puzzles are straigthforward, and the music sounds like the old "island-with-coconut-and-pirates" music themes of video games. :)
