If large file adventures are not your thing, here is a special freebie treat for Windows users today: the colored light puzzle game, Prism, can be yours absolutely free.
Many of you enjoyed the browser version, when it appeared in a previous Link Dump Friday, despite some performance issues with the Flash implementation. The download doesn't seem to have those issues, so it's pretty much just a good, fun, wholesome, casual puzzle game that the whole family can enjoy.
Just download the game, and choose "Buy now". The game will be put into your cart with a total cost of $0.00. Don't delay, we are unsure how long this offer will be valid.

I don't know if this works or not - I'm having problems loading the game - getting a graphics error.

The game definitely works. I was able to download, install and play the game on my Mac using Parallels.
At first the game displayed in a window that was smaller than the content in it, but I was able to get into options where I found options to switch resolution to one that fit my screen.
After that the game ran very well. :)
I had no issues on Vista... what's the error?
I own this game on the Nintendo DS, and it is worth every penny I paid for it. Free for the PC? Get it!
I loved the browser version of the game ^^ I can't wait to get home from work to try it out :D

Lailai: If you click the "Buy Now" button, you will be taken to the checkout where the game still (as of the time of this comment) costs $0.00. There is the option to purchase a back-up CD, but that is unchecked by default. So, Free Prism is still free!
In other words, on the game's page, it will still say that it costs $6.99, but when you go to the checkout, the discount is applied.
Anyone know why this is free? Or if this is just a bug and we're kind of doing something illegal?
Downloaded it (along with the Big Fish client whatever that goes with it, like it or not). Everything seemed to go without a hitch (got all the right emails, activation, etc.). Then I tried to play. Black screen, froze my mouse, task manager, etc. I have a good PC and have bought & downloaded many games. This one, I had to uninstall. Glad it worked for some of you.
Maybe that's why it's free: It doesn't work on everyone's computer?
There have been many times when Big Fish has made available some of their games for free for promotional purposes.
Not exactly sure the reason behind this one in particular.
No wonder it's free. A 5 minute loading screen? Or at least 5 minutes, I turned it off because I had other things to do.
The loading screen doesn't last 5 seconds for me.
Aye, I'm not even going to download this one. The last time I tried to download a free BigFish game mentioned on this site, it simply refused to work on my laptop (the only computer I was using while at uni)
Works like a charm for me, downloaded, installed and loaded without a hitch.
Now I'm stuck at level 49. Haaalp!

Not free for me! I think I am too late! Usually you have to enter a code to get the discount. Pity, I like this game.
