Pokémon Horizons, the recent series launched on April 14, 2023, features new protagonists and adventures. The series premiered in Japan and was distributed by Netflix in the USA. Dual protagonists Liko and Roy join with a group of adventurers titled the Rising Volt Tacklers. The group set out to explore the Pokémon world, visiting all places introduced in the core series, from Kanto to Paldea.
It's the first time in Pokémon history that Pokémon Horizons will feature all new characters and a more linear story with many ties to previous anime series.
