Welcome to PC Games Tuesday - this week presents marvellous escape game SCOPE by Studio LOOK!
You find yourself in a strange house - and a beautiful one - at a strange place. The planet you can see from the balcony seems like Saturn and it's so close - where are you? On Jupiter? Or maybe outside our solar system in another one? You don't need to bother with this now. More important is how to get out from the house since is locked...
Wishing you happy and joyful playing of another good escape game!
The house you are locked in hides many secrets. It's full of puzzles, not functinal devices and items without clear purpose. You have much to do to get out of here and need to think in a creative way to solve the codes and find out where to use items and how to combine them.
Careful exploration of the room and the balcony (and later the roof, too) is very important since it's easy to overlook some crucial hint(s); the same can be said about the items you collect during playing. If you get stuck, take a close look at them, maybe you discover something, and look around the room again. Revisiting the spots you've explored earlier isn't tedious, the house is much interesting and you keep finding new details or parts of the clues. Through the round door window you can see the path leading away from your 'prison' - can you reach it?
Controlled completely by a mouse - to get out of telescope you need to push the right mouse button. Notice, that the items which aren't useful anymore disappear from your inventory. Notice, that the game doesn't have autosave.
SCOPE is really fun! Cool wind sound, awesome graphics and tricky but ultimately intuitive puzzles. Needs a save function because it is LONG. Not as long as Neutral Elements (swf escape game now unplayable), but the walkthrough alone is over 12 minutes (thanks Cerkill https://youtu.be/vIkd-Zi5n5U ). PLAY IT!
Best game in a long time. The only thing that didn't make 100% sense to me was
the order of the coloured balls. I managed to place four of them from the telescope hint but had to 'guess' the remaining two.
