It's been a long time since we've encountered a game from Room's Room for pc. They still make games but exclusively for mobile and their older games for pc are not available. Maybe since the games are in Unity more will follow. Hopefully.
This game was published a year ago in Mobile Monday N°320. You can find Room's Room's games in the Apple Store under the name Daichi Simada. Earlier were their browser games published under the name Riddle Escape.
Edit: There is a second game after you finish the first one - viz. jaybo33's comment. Thanks!
As usual, this game consists of two parts. You start in a traditional Japanese room and although you can leave it from the beginning, there's nothing to do outside because it's dark. You need to concentrate on solving the puzzles inside. For two you will encounter a small language barrier but all you need to overcome is visual memory or use the hint system.
When you get out, the second half of the game and the magical transformation of the environment await you! All the puzzles are logical, you just need a thorough exploration of the surroundings and of course the found objects.
What we got from Room's Room is a charming game with a magical atmosphere, and while some of you may have played it on mobile it's been a year since it was released and you can play it again. Playing on a pc is much more comfortable. Enjoy!

I love the aesthetics of these Japanese games.
Cherry blossoms under the moonlight—gorgeous!
Nice game, nice to hard or easy or too long or too short. There is a second game after you beat the first game, click the Japanese link (1st one I think). You seem to begin the game again but it is all new puzzles and added scenes..
Thanks!
Much thanks for catching that, jaybo33! That "second quest" is actually quite different, a decent length in its own right, and really enjoyable! 🙂
