Have you ever been so unhappy that only solving a bunch of point-and-click puzzles and finding 70 tiny monkeys dressed as ninjas would cheer you up? That's the problem in Pencilkids' Monkey GO Happy game, Monkey GO Happy Ninjas, so it's clear you have your work cut out for you if you want to turn this simpering simian's frown upside-down. The cursor will change when it passes over something you can interact with, so just click to move around, pick up items, and (literally) leave no stone unturned, because as is the norm for a Monkey GO Happy game that involves tracking down large numbers of something, those itty-bitty monkeys are everywhere. In addition to finding the little ninjas, most of the people in the area need help of some sort, and there are coded locks to crack. Finding seventy tiny monkeys sounds like an impossible task, but Monkey GO Happy Ninjas likely won't take you very long at all, and it's a lovely game with a ton of areas despite an apparently random mishmash of scenery and imagery, making for a light snack to start your day off right... everyone knows you need the proper amount of monkeys in your entertainment diet, after all!
The trickiest part was finding the belt, but otherwise another solid MGH.

I keep my ad blocker turned off for JIG, but this game wouldn't load until I turned the blocker back on - the page just stalled after the ad video ended. I'm using Google Chrome in Windows 7, for what it's worth.

Am I the only adult who jumps for joy at a new Monkey GO Happy game? These are so well done ... the premise is always simple, but I usually end up needing at least one clue.
Haha, I love these games too! I don't know what it is about them, I think I just really like big escape games (lots of different scenes). This one was fun, but I did get a little stuck because I wasn't using an item in just the right place.
I used the katana on the vines a couple of times, but I guess there is a specific hot spot I kept missing. Got it in the end though!
I felt like there were fewer puzzles in this one, and more "find item, give item to right person to get next item". But it was still fun.
Two of the clues are very faint. When I saw that something might be there, I was only able to see it when I put a screen shot into Paint and expanded the clue to about triple size.
One is on the roof ridge at the very top.
One is on the left wall of the enclosure where the guy wants the scroll.

No, I love the MGH games too. Mostly because I can actually win them, unlike the majority of room-escape games which seem to have exactly one thing I don't understand in.
Yes, they're very simple, but they artistry is terrific and they show funny things and they keep me distracted for 30 to 60 minutes. And they're free. What more can you ask ?
This is weird. Usually I would hate a game with a sad monkey, but right now I feel pathetic and it's perfect. Who knew something like this could be so strangely comforting? :)
