MeaghanGravity Duck 2Who needs to use wings when you can press a single button to shift your gravitational pull? Certainly not the duck in Gravity Duck 2, the physics puzzle platformer sequel to the original by WoblyWare.

Under orders from your demanding master it is up to you to brave the perilous city and retrieve the precious golden eggs. With the help of your [arrow] keys, [X] button, gravity wells, and tube portals you'll navigate the treacherous city and claim every last golden egg. Though your duck may look like the yellow cousin of Perry the Platypus don't worry about encountering any evil scientists. Instead, be prepared for spiked walls, laser guns, angry dogs, and an assortment of other weapons waiting to foil your brilliant egg snatching plans. Be forewarned that you can't switch gravity in midair so be ready to execute perfect timing and a flawless strategy. With forty levels to power through you'll find your brain getting that mental workout its been craving. To sweeten the pot this game proves to be as gleefully cartoonish and fun as its quacktastic predecessor and is bound to entice you until the very end.

I like it, it's enjoyable but.. it repeats the same mistake as the first one. It's just so easy! Only the very last few levels give some resemblance of challenge, 90% of the game plays like an extended tutorial. And it doesn't really help that the levels are pretty monotone and same-y. It's more or less the first game, but green tones of the jungle have been changed to drab city setting, and the difficulty bar is set even lower.

It's still a nice distraction, and worth playing, don't get me wrong, I just feel more could have been done with the concept.

Pretty simple game, but fun diversion.

Oh, one complaint, super annoying to have to mouse click the "Continue" button on a keyboard controlled game after each level. The original didn't require that.

Too easy and I finished it in about 15 min but it was enjoyable while it lasted. I'll probably send it to my little sister.

Oh yah, cosign on having to click to continue... that was really annoying.

Level 11 stumped me, and having to click in a keyboard-only game is annoying.

Played this over the weekend, and found it highly addictive. Like it!

Really, really annoying having to click. I don't like leaving my mouse pointer hovering over the game, it obscures the level. That single frustration dwarfs any other enjoyment I might have got from the game.
