Everybody knows that warderobes often hide portals to another worlds. Everybody knows that these worlds are magical, and wonderful creatures live there. Well...how to put it...kind of. Magic is colorful and black is a color too...and you are to find out more about it in this chapter, maybe more than you wished.
Forgotten Hill The Wardrobe - Chapter 1 - Other Friends, a new chapter from spin-off series set on Forgotten Hill by FM Studios arrived, and be ready for a dark adventure in a dark house where every sound scares you, even the sound of own footsteps. It's not a vivid imagination. The heavy, stifling atmosphere is real - there is definitely something sinister going on in this house.
It's year 1892. You arrive from the school eager to talk to your brother Waylon and hear about his new friends he mentioned in his letters, but he doesn't feel well and needs a medicine. Seems that he got involved in some trouble. While exploring the house and running errands for Waylon, you need to solve puzzles to get into cabinets - they are good puzzles but the darkness around and pressing circumstances make solving them harder and since some depend on accuracy and/or timing, you need to concentrate purely on results and not let yourself distract. The consequences could be fatal. The malevolent forces present in this house aren't the mere beginners.
The horror we've got from FM Studios, apart from haunting atmosphere and beautiful art we are used to from their previous works, is promising start of a new series and after finishing leaves players - I mean the players who survived terrifying events in the house - very curious about the continuation...
The game is controlled by a mouse and has autosave.
What a fantastic surprise and treat - have been a Forgotten Hill fan for years
I was so looking forwward to this. Crashed so many times it wasn't worth reloading anymore.
Almost worth freezing my computer a dozen or so times. The ads were a pain but understandable. Rather them than having to pay for games.
